Would anyone be talking about a misunderstanding?
Would anyone be talking about a fine?
Or would the headlines be calling him a predator?
The lesson is simple: unwanted sexual contact is unwanted sexual contact. Either we apply the same standard to everyone, or we admit the standard changes depending on who's doing the touching.
