Hypermobile Friendly Workouts

Hi Bendy Babes! Happy Wednesday! Dropping in with a quick update for you:

I recently launched a biweekly series called Hypermobile Exercise Adaptations. So many of you have asked for more specific breakdowns of exercises in the comments, so these videos are designed to offer a 3-5 minute bite-sized explanation, providing more detailed cueing and instruction for your bendy body. So far, I've reviewed things like cat/cow, bent knee raises, and squats.

Sign up here to access the series: mailchi.mp/hypermobileworkouts/exercise-adaptation…

And if you have any exercise suggestions that you'd like reviewed, drop them in the comments below!

Hypermobile Friendly Workouts

Ummm, okay Bendy Babes…. when I logged on yesterday, there were not 15,000 of you here. But today? 😱😳😬 Welcome to our new Bendy Babes, and a big thank you to everyone that has been here for awhile and stuck around.

Do you guys remember last year, when I officially reactivated the channel in May for Hypermobility Awareness month? I think our Bendy Babe community has like, tripled in size since then.

As always, thank you all for your wonderful support, comments, and feedback! I have gotten some really incredible comments from you guys lately. And I may not respond to all of them (or very quickly) but I do see them, and I hope you know that I’m grateful every single time!

In the meantime, keep moving and I’ll be back soon with updated about Hypermobility Awareness month and what we’ll get up to this year!

Hypermobile Friendly Workouts

Been coming across so many incredible comments from all you Bendy Babes lately, and wanted to highlight this one because this is how I hope you’ll use an experience the workouts. Not just “do it once, and move on forever.”

But to really embrace a challenge, try it, develop new skills, try it again, and eventually, crush it ☺️ it’s incredibly rare that our bodies will master every single exercise right away. So I encourage you to have patience with yourself, enjoy the little learning moments, and give yourself a well deserved pat on the back when something that was once challenging feels a little easier.

Hypermobile Friendly Workouts

Hypermobile Hangouts are making a comeback! I had an amazing time interviewing a colleague and friend - Dr. Megan Barker, Hypermobility Physical Therapist.

The full interview comes out Friday but it got me thinking…

I want to know which Hypermobility specialists YOU absolutely adore. If there is a practice or practitioner that you love working with, drop their name below. I’ll reach out and do my best to set up more Hypermobile Hangouts so we can learn more about Hypermobility, hEDS, and all the weirdness that comes with being a Bendy Babe ❤️

Hypermobile Friendly Workouts

Hey Bendy Babes! I’ve been working on a few exciting updates to bring even more value and education to the Hypermobile Friendly Workouts community. Here’s what’s new:

I hosted the first Hypermobility Masterclass yesterday, and it was incredible. Fifty-seven people registered, and we had a powerful discussion about how to structure workouts that are truly hypermobile friendly.

Enrollment is open for the 4-Week Fitness Foundations Course starting in November. This program walks you step-by-step through the HFW 3-Part Framework, helping you integrate strength, control, and stability into every workout.

There’s now a Linktree for all things HFW, because there’s too much happening not to stay organized:

Day 1 of the Hypermobile Hip Strength Series is now live! Day 2 and 3 will be up later this week, so stay tuned.

Phew... and that's all for now. As always thank you for tuning in, and for your great feedback!

Hypermobile Friendly Workouts

Hi Bendy Babes - I have a Masterclass on the schedule for October 15th at 12pm! This is not a workout, but a conversation where we'll cover topics like:

- What a "traditional workout" is, and why they don't work for hypermobility
- The three pillars that make up a successful hypermobile workout
- Strategies to actually strengthen your hypermobile body

Register Here: us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/0hGlwCUnSkS2zH6pU…

There will not be a recording so make sure you tune in live! Looking forward to seeing you there.

Hypermobile Friendly Workouts

Well Bendy Babes... I woke up to a big milestone today:

7,500 of you have found your way to my YouTube channel 🥳

Back in May of this year, while I was living in the mountains of Santa Fe with barely any WiFi, I made a crazy commitment. I decided to post an online workout every single day for Hypermobility Awareness Month. Rain or shine, slow internet or not.

That daily practice not only raised awareness for hypermobility, but also helped build this incredible community of hypermobile, bendy movers!

To everyone who has subscribed, watched, or shared the channel, thank you. Your support is what makes this work meaningful.

PS: Next video is dropping next on Tuesday!
