HAPPY 250TH ANNIVERSARY 🇺🇸

There is a reason that you were born during this stage in American history as we prepare to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States tomorrow!

Two hundred fifty years ago, God shed His grace upon us and gave us a country with so many things that we take for granted every single day. Today in America, the country is heading into an existential crisis; while we have enemies abroad, the greatest threat is from within.

At the heart of this battle is a spiritual war where all of us have to decide if we are going to be one nation under the one true God or one nation under false gods and moral relativism.

Catholics in particular have a duty because of our Baptism and Confirmation to get involved in our communities in the small and large ways so that we can ensure that America remains a Christian nation.

In the past three years since Catholics for Catholics began, I have gotten to know so many of you across the country and you have inspired me with all the ways that you are actively trying to help save our nation.

We cannot do this alone, and the example that you set, carrying your crosses with joy for Christ, is the reason that there are so many Catholic conversions happening right now among young adults.

As we commemorate this great anniversary, let us pause and think about the many Catholic patriots that have gone before us. We have made it part of our mission to highlight these great Catholic heroes in our weekly Catholic Patriotic Minute. You can click here to learn more about these faithful patriots, and we will also be releasing a book soon to capture this history. Stay tuned for that book release!

May each of you have a joyous celebration at your campfires, barbecues, and firework displays this weekend! And most importantly, something I always try to do and think is the best way to start the Fourth of July off, is attending Mass, because the Eucharist is the food and nourishment of the Catholic patriot which keeps our eyes focused not just on this country, but on our eternal goal of heaven.

The Vatican has published the process for “reconciliation” of priests & lay faithful from the SSPX, insisting they sign a Profession of Faith and Declaration of Adherence.

John Yep, President of Catholics for Catholics, issued this statement regarding the SSPX’s consecration of new bishops without papal mandate and their subsequent excommunication:

"Catholics for Catholics understands the crisis within the Church. On one hand, the Vatican cedes the power of naming bishops to the Chinese Communist Party, but on the other hand, excommunicates the SSPX for naming their own Bishops… It’s sad to witness this confusion and to acknowledge that both actions have wounded the Bride of Christ. While we live in a tragic paradox as a Church, we must never leave the barque of Peter through direct disobedience to the Holy Father which is what the Society of St. Pius the X has unfortunately done with their recent episcopal consecration…

There are many ways to fall into the sin of pride for which we are all guilty of. There are “Gay Pride” Masses which cause great scandal but an episcopal consecration that directly disobeys the Holy Father is also a “Pride Mass” of sorts.

It goes without saying that we live in unique times in the Church. No one is saying we should be silent in front of the scandals that abound in our hierarchy. Ironically, the Vatican official who delivered the communique on excommunication to the bishops and priests of the SSPX, Cardinal Fernandez, has also been a great scandal for the Church for his own borderline pornographic books like Heal With Your Mouth that he published a few years back.

However, we must exercise the highest level of prudence and humility when dealing with the administration of the Sacraments which we need for our very salvation. Obedience is the guarantee that protects the validity and licit nature of these Sacraments. Let us double our prayers for our Holy Mother Church so that Christ’s own prayer, “Ut Unum Sint” – “That they may be one” John 17 – will come to pass. Our hearts go out to the many good members that make up the SSPX and we pray for them to return to full Communion with Rome.”

It's upsetting that practicing, reverent, traditional Catholics are being scrutinized while pride priests and LGBT-loving Novus Ordro parishes receive no pushback from the church hierarchy.

We must stand firm in our faith, but realize that while our 2,000 year old church isn't going anyway, it is not without its struggles and gripes for the strong shepherds and faithful laity .

After a terrible wildfire in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, a statue of the sacred heart remained completely untouched whilst surrounded by ashes.
