Hello!

A couple of years ago I got a 3D TV and started collecting a few movies for it. At first it was mostly whatever I happened to come across at Walmart or Best Buy. It was fun browsing for movies again. Streaming movies and music had made that experience obsolete. Then they stopped selling new 3D titles so I started visiting various used stuff stores. And then when the pandemic hit I started ordering stuff, mostly from overseas. And my collection kept getting bigger and bigger. And well, guess I just felt like talking about what I've found so far.

And most importantly... have fun!

Some of my favorite 3D reviewers I recommend searching for - Tommy Boy 3D - Channel Donstar - 3D blu ray bunker

Mercy in 3D... well that was weird. The 3D was fine. There wasn't much to work with. Stereo did make the character look extra isolated in the chamber. And his counterpart remaining flat on a screen was effective in dehumanizing the interaction. Though showing various Facetime, body cams and security video being in stereo often felt illogical. So much so at point I wondered if it were implying that the whole thing was a simulation. The action clips would have benefitted from being in high frame rate. Not the first movie to attempt to make a drama out of internet searches but this may the most watchable, though you'll have to forgive a tsunami of plot holes.

Is there any particular 3D movie you'd like to see reviewed? ...when I get some time to do so.

Well, it looks like I won't be able to break away and see Avatar 3 until after the holidays. James Cameron seemed to be capitulating defeat in his interviews. I wonder if the test screenings were brutal? What did you think of it?

This probably marks the true end of the Blu-ray era and by extension its 3D offerings.
