Hi, I’m Kimberley Black–survivor, educator, writer, speaker, and advocate.
What started as personal storytelling about surviving a violent assault and traumatic brain injury has grown into a space for trauma-informed conversations about survival, meaning-making, victimology, memoir writing, systems navigation, and healing after violence.
On this channel, you’ll find:
• reflections on resilience and recovery
• conversations about victim impact statements, trauma, and the justice system
• memoir and expressive writing insights
• survivor-centred education and advocacy
• honest discussions about rebuilding identity after trauma
My goal is to create a thoughtful, supportive space for survivors, frontline workers, educators, and anyone interested in trauma-informed perspectives and human resilience.
