Can you believe THIS was a complimentary Economy Class meal on a 2h 30min flight!? 🙌

Our Brutally Honest episode about Starlux's 🇹🇼 Airbus A350-900 from Taipei to Osaka is almost ready. However, in my pursuit to create the most informative flight reviews possible, the layers of work I am putting into these videos is increasing exponentially. The video in question is almost ready, however, I wanted to include some extra information that isn't widely available on the internet, so I am currently in contact with Airbus to get some more exclusive details to share with you.

And that's not the only video that is almost ready, but not quite: Our video about JetBlue's 🇺🇸 Transatlantic Economy Class has some new information in it with some details I got from JetBlue themselves. And, for two other videos I am waiting on hearing back from a sponsor, as well as finalize my own sponsorship.

Yes, we will sponsor our own videos... 👀 Because finally, we are launching Simply Aviation merchandise! I am so excited to share more details soon, because in line with my goal to be a useful channel, I didn't just want to slap our logo onto a t-shirt and call it a day, but rather provide unique and thoughtfully designed pieces of merch that might actually be useful, or at least nice to look at.

And despite all of this, I am still mostly running this channel myself. Cutting each video myself, creating the animations myself. Luckily I've got Louie (check out his work and give him a follow!! www.instagram.com/aviationvolume) who's way more talented designing things than I am, and who's helping me realize my merch ideas. He's the one who has been drawing (by hand!) the seats and planes in our videos over the past two years, and now also parts of our merch selection!

It's all a lot of work that isn't visible. So, I wanted to apologize for the irregular publication of new videos lately, and let you know I am not taking a break, just working on things you haven't seen yet. Between January and now, we've also recorded so my interesting and unique flights, and I am hopeful to provide you a winter packed with multiple weekly videos.

We just published a new episode of Brutally Honest about Japan's newest airline: Zipair

Zipair is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan Airlines, and aims to offer flights on competetive routes at a lower cost by cutting certain service elements. And honestly, they did a fantastic job!

This is a special milestone for us. Not because it's our 232nd airline, but because it's the last airline which is part of any of the three big alliances that we were missing. We now have a video about every single airline of any of the three alliances.

So...which alliance is your favorite? And why? 👀

(My personal choice is SkyTeam, because they have a lot of really good airline, such as Delta 🇺🇸, Saudi Arabian 🇸🇦, Aeromexico 🇲🇽, Air France 🇫🇷, Virgin Atlantic 🇬🇧, China Airlines 🇹🇼, and more. For Air France, a new episode of Brutally Honest is coming soon, aboard their Boeing 777-300ER from Los Angeles to Paris in Economy Class, and spoiler: I personally consider Air France to offer Europe's best Economy Class. But more on that soon! 😏)

Apart from the horrible upload frequency, I apologize for that! I'm trying to figure out if that's the only thing I need to fix, or if you have other requests or complaints I should take into account heading into 2023 :)
