Some common questions I've been getting so I'll answer them here:
- THE BACKPACKS we use are LED backpacks from Nyan Gear and you can find them here: nyangear.com/ _____________________________________
- AUDIO/VIDEO SETUP to record voices and overlay it on the videos:
We use a comm system called Cardo, the model is the Packtalk Edge since that model offers the most amount of people to connect with (It's also one of their highest trims), this is how we talk to each other. Cardo has an app that has a feature that will record the audio of any and all people you're connected with, you're the only person that has to record for everyone to be recorded. When you stop recording, the audio file is automatically saved to your phone. If you find the audio files in your phone, Spotify actually works as a reader for these files, so I have a whole folder in my personal Spotify library that I can listen to hear how audio clips turned out.
For video, I use an Ace Pro 2 from Insta360 recording at 1080p at 60 fps because it gets the highest quality/battery ratio (about 1.5 - 2 hours on a good day), though usually YouTube/TikTok/Insta all end up just compressing it to 720p and 30 fps most times. Also, I record with a 256 GB SD card which can hold about 7 hours of footage.
I download the videos from the camera onto my phone, then import the video along with the audio into an editting app (I use CapCut) and from there I sync the audio to the video using my mic check procedure, which is tapping the tank 3 times while audibly counting to 3 once I start recording, it's not perfect but it gets it as close as I can (which is why sometimes you might hear my voice sound "echoey"). From there I'm able to cut, edit, and mess with the video however I want. _____________________________________
- Kano's black cruiser is a HONDA REBEL, not a Harley. It's a 500cc parallel twin, I don't know how you guys hear that and think it sounds anything like a v-twin chopper. _____________________________________
- I DO NOT WANT TO MEET UP TO RIDE as it's hard trying to organize rides on my own agenda with how busy I am with my actual job, and I don't really enjoy going out of my way to meet strangers, sorry if that upsets you. However, if for some reason you run into me while I'm out on the road (We pull up next to each other at a stoplight, you see me in a parking lot, or whatever other reason), I'm obviously not going to be a d*ckhead and ignore you lol, feel free to wave as I will totally wave back IF I see you, as tinted visors are hard to see out of at night lol. Just look for the guy with the big flashlight on the side of their helmet. _____________________________________
If you have any other questions, please ask, I can't guarantee I'll know the answer, but I'd love to still try and help with anything.
