What is your WHY in life?
Your “why” in life is your core purpose, driving force, or the fundamental reason you get out of bed every morning—it is the intrinsic motivation behind your actions, decisions, and passion. It serves as a personal “North Star,” providing clarity, direction, and resilience during challenges while ensuring your actions align with your deeper values.
This didn’t take much thought for me, my why in life are my boys. Who are now grown men with wives and wonderful families with whom I am grateful to be a part of.
There is nothing greater in the world than seeing the people you love the most, happy!
When I ruminate on their childhoods and now watch them evolve into two fine young men, I think to myself… I want to always be the healthiest, happiest version of myself to continue experiencing life with them all.
Which leads me to ask… are you doing EVERYTHING you can to keep yourself healthy, motivated, productive, energetic, stable, or anything else you can think of to continue “your why” as long as you possibly can?
It’s never too late! Find your purpose,
Enjoy your life, spread joy when able! Remember, your Health and Wellness are a paramount part of YOUR journey and YOUR why.

@greenlivingmag Event on February 21st, I had the opportunity to speak with a panel of experts on everything Health & Wellness.
My topic: You have a 5 year Financial Plan, but do you have a 5 year Fitness Plan? The chances are NO! We save for retirement, we save for our future.. but truly, HEALTH IS YOUR WEALTH! You want to be able to enjoy your life healthfully.
So what does your 5 year FITNESS Plan entail?
First, Preparation and Prevention.
1. Did you know that the #1 accidental death for “active agers” is falls? It’s not the fall that causes a death it’s self, it’s time you take off to recover that weakens the body, causes sarcopenia (muscle loss) and fatigue, and places a fear around basic everyday walking, moving or standing.
Prevention: Weight Training = Building muscle to protect the bone. Include Functional training by utilizing your own body weight. Squats, Pushups, Lunges are examples of exercises that can help you get out of a chair, off of a floor or push yourself up from the ground.
2. Studies are now showing that Cognitive Decline is happening at a younger age, as is depression and obesity.
In a world where we now sit behind computers and phones, we are inundated with a constant barrage information that not only has us “sitting” more, but also puts us in a state of anxiety, fear, lack, and worry.
Prevention: Studies show a 10 minute walk either outside or ANYWHERE can clear your head. Healthier foods, feed the brain. 2 minutes of meditative thought work, help your concentration and focus.
Make it a practice to change the way you think, and the things you think about will change.
3. Bottom line, if there is one thing that you can do to live a happier life, have more focus, stave off depression, have more energy, prepare for the unexpected… It is Exercise, Healthy Foods & Self-Awareness.
