Is your town having a BIG 4th of July celebration this year??

It's our country's 250th Birthday Celebration! We want to come and celebrate and document a small town's 4th of July this year.

We will be in the general area of the Ozarks in July - in and around the Missouri/Oklahoma/Arkansas region. Ideally, we come to a smaller town somewhere near the Lake Of The Ozarks in Missouri, but are open to suggestions.

If your smallish town is having a big bash with lots of activities and music, etc. - or you know of an area in that region that's putting on a big 4th of July bash, please let us know.

In the meantime, there's a lot more Florida coming up, as we explore the strange region of the Everglades as well as a side of the Florida Keys you've never seen before. Then, we re-join the second half of the Japan series.

Hey everyone! So much going on. So we just started the Japan series - which I hope you are all enjoying! So much to learn from those people.

CURRENTLY - we are planning a NEW type of road trip series. We're heading into parts of the South to test out a new format - where we will be dispatching on the ground as we move. We haven't really done something similar since the election coverage of 2024.

The goal is to wander through these states below and capture stories as we find them. Broadcast our daily adventures. Whatever we find, whoever we meet, wherever we wind up - that's the story. Real America, real Americans.

We have some rough guidelines on a route, but we want to keep things loose and spontaneous. We've always said some of the best content we've made wasn't planned. It just happened.

Typically, as you know, we plan trips out and then air content weeks or even months after we've left.

This is a trial run- it will be tough to let go of 'all the details' but the goal is to hit the road and dispatch the stories and places as we discover them across the country. Some of the content may even be LIVE!

If you live in the states below and have some ideas to share, email me - maybe we can include them along the way.

The series intro will air LIVE on YouTube at that time. You can watch the video at any point - that's just when the series will launch.

Kim, Mappy and I spent three weeks traveling all over Japan - and folks, I have to say, this place has a lot figured out. Zero crime, low cost of living, no drugs, no violence and it's so CLEAN. NO government corruption. NO immigration. And there's a level of community respect that we're missing in the USA.

You need to see how extremely well this country is run and what we can learn from them. Even though, let's be real - we won't change anything. And that's just a fraction of what we'll show you about this strange land half a world away. We're gonna see weird food and shopping, awesome small towns, huge mega cities and even take a trip into Japan's WORST HOOD.

There are 10 videos about Japan that will air over the course of the Spring. We will continue to air the remainder of other trips (West Coast, Appalachia land) in between the Japan series episodes.

Hope you guys enjoy following alone as seasoned American travel veterans navigate the Japanese way of life and bring to you a side of this country you've never seen.

We've had so many conversations with folks along on our journeys. Almost all of those interviews with regular Americans get 'cut' - and you guys only see part of them. So, we've published some of the most memorable conversations in their entirety, and gave them their own platform.

These interviews are raw and unfiltered. They aren't a complete collection, and I'll continue to upload more as we meet new people. A majority of the interesting people we meet are in smaller towns, or off the main drags of America.

Sometimes people have a lot to say, and when you hand them the mic, it's almost like they've been waiting for that moment to speak their minds. Other times, people we've met seem a little hesitant at first, but once they get going...

Nick and Kim and Mappy are going to JAPAN soon.

We're not even close to being done Unboxing America - BUT we want to travel to Japan to show what it's like to live there. The cost of living is WAY lower, the crime is WAY lower. It's clean and people are wonderful. At least that's what everyone says.

Well we're going to find out ourselves.

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY TO MAPPY! On this date in 2019, our favorite YouTube sidekick was born in a small town in Illinois. And now he's so LEGEND.

I asked ChatGPT to make Mappy a birthday banner and it added some hairy arms and legs! Mappy is getting so OLD I guess!
