Hey! I'm Lacy, Lace or LaceBakes - I've been writing & playing music since I was 3. I play multiple instruments; but my main axe is the violin. I also play the 'fiddle' and before you ask: the difference between a violin & fiddle; is that "one has a G-string; and the other one has a G-straaaaang".

Yes: i know how to play 'the devil went to georgia'; Please don't ask unless you have like 6 bennies in your hand. You're also not original & cool when you ask that; I've heard it 45453734353493849544 times. what else? no; it's not a strad. most people don't play or own strads; they are in museums. Yes: i've heard of Lindsey Sterling. she's alright. Itzhak Perlman is 1Mx's better; but not as cute.

I have most of my music here on YouTube; but also 3 albums on the evil, demonic music stealing platforms that everyone blindly uses even though it gives the 1% $1M+ and the artists $0.17.

I am currently teaching one of my students ‘Meditation’ from Thais:
I assigned him homework to write a short story evoking how the piece makes him feel. In order to inspire said student, I wrote my own… Here it is:
it is slightly humorous / maybe someone can put it into AI and share an animated video or static

I will began to release 'singles' from an instrumental album entitled 'DREAMSTATE'

This will began in OCTOBER. The Spooookey season.
It will began with a spoooookey tune regarding a little spider.

The tunes began in my mind after a massive fire - I saw ashes falling from the skies for the first time in my life; and a family member died. and so it began; my 'dreamstate' - both literally and musically. I'm not sure I've woken up yet.
