Im Gaz — a UK motorcycle rider based in Cumbria, getting out whenever I can and taking you along for the ride with me! Expect real-world riding, great roads, and honest moto-vlog content, filmed whenever opportunity allows.

This channel is about getting out whenever possible be that solo or on adventures with friends. Typically chasing good roads, trails and moto-camping trips thrown in for good measure whilst riding my KTM 890 R — whether that’s a quick overnight camp or a longer ride out. It’s all about enjoying the ride, the people, and the places we end up. I have been known to end up heading to Monaco for a pint in the past so expect anything.

Not a fair-weather rider, but sunshine is always welcome ☀️. From quick blasts to multi-day adventures, this channel is all about motorcycling the way it’s meant to be.

If you love bikes, riding with mates, and adventure, you’ll feel right at home here.

Gaz.

Gaz on the Gas

I’ve used CoLight products for over two years now, running their MF series spot lights on my Africa Twin and more recently my KTM 890R.
Not once have the lights let me down… they even survived a 50mph crash in France. They lit the hedge, floor and sky up spectacularly as I was tumbling through the undergrowth 😅

So when CoLight reached out and asked if I’d like to review their latest offering – the 3” DDF Pro Series Lights – it was an easy yes.

Straight out the box you can see the development from 2+ years of R&D.
You’ve got:
• A redesigned harness with larger, more durable connections
• A completely redesigned switch – looks incredible and has a crisp, almost Swiss-watch feel to it
• And the lights themselves… seriously solid units. Built tough is the only way to describe them
Inside each unit:
• 3 separate LED systems
• Amber DRL strip
• Amber low beams
• White high beams
And yes… it includes the parade flashing mode too 👀
Perfect for visibility when filtering (where legal) or in emergencies.

🎁 GIVEAWAY

I’ll be cleaning up my old MF lights and bringing them to the ABR Festival this year.
If you’re going, comment: “GAZ ABR” to be in with a chance to win a fantastic set of lights 👊

Hopefully I’ll be doing a live giveaway at the ABR.

Gaz on the Gas

After many, many months of searching for soft luggage, I came across a brand that seemed to offer everything you could want—at well over half the price of its direct competitors.
Let me introduce you to an absolute hidden gem: the Dirtsack Erupt Rackless V2 (Sandstone colour, in this instance).
It features an integrated baseplate that houses the saddle system for the very generous dry bags (2 × 24L), along with a beavertail system to secure larger items or accommodate their cleverly designed Frogman bag, which even includes dual roll-top ends—a classy touch for ease of access.
There are also two additional auxiliary bags, each with their own dry bags, adding even more storage (2 × 2.8L).
The entire system comes with a multitude of straps to secure everything in place and keep it firmly locked down.
The Dirtsack Erupt Rackless V2 truly is a work of art—and for the price, you won’t find anything else like it. Trust me, I’ve been looking for 12 months.
I’ve also got a new video coming out next week, where I’ll be fitting the system to the bike and heading out on a camping trip—so keep an eye out for that.

Sticking with the theme of tips.

If you purchase yourself a new lid, save yourself some of that head pain as it beds in by putting a basketball/football in the helmet and inflating it slightly. Leaving it inside over night.

DO NOT INFLATE FULLY. If you cant get your finger in between the ball and helmet reduce the pressure in the ball.
