Constantly amazed where this career takes me. @jessicanigri and @kawaiiqueen. are two of the top cosplayers in the world. I’m blown away by the extravagance they went through to create these spot-on IRL characters from Helluva Boss. They discovered me through my animation voice work on on the series, which led them to my comedy show. I used to think my VO work was separate from my stand up, but worlds eventually collide and synergize.

This is proof that positive self talk works! When the artists at Spindlehorse asked me to draw my character, Chaz, I caught myself saying, “I’m terrible at drawing.” But, what if, I thought, for 10 minutes, I fooled myself into believing I was a good artist? So, that’s what I did:
1. I drew this first drawing looking at another drawing of Chaz, thinking the mantra, “I am a good artist.”
2. The next night, I did the same thing. I tried to recreate @SamuraiAmes’drawing. I wrote “I am good artist” in my signature.
3. Ames and me.
4. This fourth slide is what I doodled yesterday from memory…no example in front of me. I was shocked! I fooled myself into not being terrible!
