A little bit about me!
My name is Bryan and, for over 15 years, I’ve been keeping Poison Dart Frogs in natural terrariums full of tropical plants including Anthuriums, Philodendrons, Peperomias, and, you guessed it, ORCHIDS! (Check out my original Youtube channel, @bryandarts)
I have a diverse orchid collection with various species and hybrids including Cattleyas, Laelias, Masdevallias, Lepanthes, Bulbophyllums, Pleurothallis and more! My collection of orchids is grown exclusively in the home.

Also, As you might be aware, the National Fire is currently burning/has burned a 30,000+ area of Big Cypress National Preserve right next to the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park. In an effort to support both the Big Cypress National Preserve and Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park during this challenging time, I will be donating all of the ad revenue earned on this video this month to the Friends of Fakahatchee and Florida National Parks Association to support their continued work to keep these beautiful preserves secure and protected for generations to come!

From a recent orchid expedition to the Everglades!
A photogenic Great Blue Heron perched in the mangrove trees in Everglades National Park! The Everglades is not deserving of its reputation for being dark and dangerous. I will argue until the day I die that the swamp is misunderstood…it’s absolutely beautiful and untouched by humans! The flora and fauna live in peace and harmony. A very floriferous Encyclia tampensis (Florida Butterfly Orchid) growing in situ! We found this impressive plant in the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve, part of Florida’s Western Everglades! This orchid blooms in the summer and has a sweet fragrance to attract pollinators!
REMEMBER: Poaching orchids from the Everglades is illegal! Leave these threatened plants in the wild to grow big and strong for future generations to enjoy!
