Under the election rules, if someone has impersonated you and voted in your name, you can request a Tendered Vote under Rule 49P.

What should you do?

✅ Step 1: Stay calm and inform the Presiding Officer
Tell the polling official:
"Someone has already voted in my name. I want to exercise my right to a Tendered Vote under Rule 49P."

✅ Step 2: Show your identity proof
Provide your:
Voter ID (EPIC)
Aadhaar Card
Passport
Driving Licence
Or any other approved identity document.

✅ Step 3: Verification process

✅ Step 4: Cast your Tendered Vote

🗳️ வாக்குச்சாவடிக்கு சென்றபோது "உங்கள் பெயரில் ஏற்கனவே வாக்களிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது" என்று கூறினால் என்ன செய்வது?
பலர் இதை கேட்டவுடன் வீட்டிற்கு திரும்பி விடுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் சட்டம் உங்கள் பக்கம் இருக்கிறது.
இந்திய தேர்தல் விதிகளில் உள்ள 49P (Tendered Vote) உரிமையின் மூலம், உங்கள் வாக்கை வேறு ஒருவர் போட்டிருந்தாலும், நீங்கள் உங்கள் உண்மையான வாக்கை பதிவு செய்யலாம்.
செய்ய வேண்டியவை:
✅ 1. பதற்றப்பட வேண்டாம் அமைதியாக வாக்குச்சாவடி அதிகாரியிடம், "என் பெயரில் வேறு ஒருவர் வாக்களித்துள்ளார். எனது 49P உரிமையை பயன்படுத்த விரும்புகிறேன்" என்று தெரிவிக்கவும்.
✅ 2. உங்கள் அடையாள அட்டையை காட்டுங்கள் EPIC (Voter ID), ஆதார் அல்லது அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட அடையாள ஆவணத்தை அதிகாரியிடம் காட்டுங்கள்.
