What was a last-minute stop turned into one of our favorite surprises in South America!

Join us on our 3 weeks living in Quito, exploring the Historic Center, riding one of the highest cable cars in South America, standing on the Equator at Mitad del Mundo, visiting El Panecillo, discovering the La Carolina (our neighborhood of choice), and, of course, eating our way through the city 😄🌎

Quito completely exceeded our expectations. We honestly had no idea we'd end up loving it as much as we did.

Ecuador wasn't even supposed to be on our itinerary... but after spending 3 weeks in Quito, it became one of the biggest surprises of our South America journey and now we can’t wait to return and explore more 🇪🇨❤️

From standing on the Equator to riding one of the highest cable cars in South America, exploring the Historic Center (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and eating some of the best food we've had on this trip... this city completely won us over.

Well… Quito wasn’t the only thing that took my breath away 🤧😂

Whatever bug found me decided to make itself very comfortable. It took me out for an entire week… and even stole my voice, which makes narrating a travel video just a tiny bit challenging 😅

So, our Quito, Ecuador video needs one more week in the editing room. Instead of this Saturday, it’ll be coming next Saturday.

The good news? Quito is absolutely worth the wait. 🇪🇨
