Hey! We’re Ruth and Andrew 👋🏼
We’re both 30-something and gave up the conventional 9–5 office life to leave Scotland behind and chase our shared dream of buying a yacht and sailing the world.
We live on our 11m catamaran, Rúna, which we now call home, as we live, work, sail, and adventure almost full-time. During the winter, we stop pretending to be pirates for a couple of months as we travel and explore by land, chasing adventure wherever it takes us.

Our first month back on Rúna has been an eventful start, but so much fun! 🤩
The weather has been strong and we've sailed in some of the biggest winds on Rúna yet, hitting 44 knots of apparent wind on the strongest day and riding down 2m waves at 10kts.
The best bit - we got to Sardinia safely to meet Andrew's family and spent 4 days with them sailing, swimming and having fun with our water toys 🧡
The worst bit - we started the season with a blocked toilet which wasn't fun to fix 💩 😭

Unfortunately, there’s no new video from us this week 💔😢
We’ve been busy hosting Andrew’s mum and brother aboard Rúna for the very first time so we decided to take a little time away from the cameras and focus on family time 🥰🥰
