Side note — I have spent an embarrassing number of hours this week going frame by frame through renders trying to get Riven to look like he isn't completely in control of every situation. Every single time. Still in control. Every frame. I've accepted it. The character has opinions about his own portrayal and I've stopped arguing.
To everyone theorising in the comments at midnight, reading between every silence, feeling things about two men who haven't said a single honest word to each other yet you see this world exactly the way it was meant to be seen.
