When was the last time you told yourself the truth? And I mean the truth and nothing but the truth?

I have been doing lots of truth telling lately and although it tends to feel overwhelming and uncomfortable…the results have been incredible.

For example, I took a most needed business break to ask myself what did I want my business to look like. To heal, like really heal from past “failed” or should I say misaligned launches and from trying to run a business like everyone else.

I took a break to develop consistent habits; habits that nurture my next level. The results??? A more regulated, calmer, happier, truthful (with myself and others), healthier and more raging version of myself.

The break or reset was MORE than necessary and especially after listening to Elizabeth Gilbert’s latest book, All the way to the river…which reminds me that we are lucky and blessed to have this life, that we get to choose and get to live it to the max and probably more convincing, that at the end we alone get to look back and either see a life well lived or a string of regrets. I choose to live fully and to the max.

There was a season when I was so tired… I didn’t even know how to rest anymore.

I’d go to bed at 2AM - fueled by fear and adrenaline - then get up before 7AM to take my daughter to school and drag myself to a J-O-B that was killing my spirit.

After school pickup, I’d feed her, then lock myself in my home office, trying to force my business to finally work.

And when I tried to take time off? Halfway through I’d end up working anyway; or building in my head yet another course that wouldn’t sell.

Eventually, I crashed. Hard. My body gave out. My nervous system was completely fried (though I didn’t know the language for it then).

I realized: doing the same thing and expecting a different result really is insanity.

Something had to change.

I devoured books, courses, retreats, certifications… desperate for answers. Little by little, I pieced them together. It took years. It cost me ten of thousands of dollars. And it broke me open again and again.

But here’s what I learned:
👉 Rest is not something we “fit in.”
👉 Rest is something we must be guided into.

The day I finally surrendered to that truth… everything shifted. My body softened. My clarity came back. My purpose felt certain again.

And that’s why I created the Healed Woman Immersion Retreats.

Because I don’t want you to just “take a break.” I want you to come back to life.

A couple of weeks ago I went to a women's conference back in Massachusetts. I was looking forward to wearing this dress and to style it ALL the way out. And that I did. When my sister asked me if I wanted a picture I said yes with my FULL chest. I stood in front of the stage and I posed. ME. I stood there while she snapped several pictures with a large audience of women in front of me. And yet, there I stood, smiling open and ever so widely.

The same girl that just a few years ago HATED calling any attention to herself in public. The same girl that many couldn't hear or even see because she would made herself invisible. That served her before.

I went from hiding so I could feel safe, masking my real vibrant and sometimes "too big" personality so others wold feel comfortable.

But that girl, grew up into the woman that TAKES all the space she wants and needs. She loves to be seen, to inspire others to ALSO take space, to be truly SEEN and heard.

This woman is no longer shy, she goes after her dreams even and especially when they seem absurd or too big for others. I KNOW what my future looks like. It is FREAKING BRIGHT and it will not allow the little shy girl to hold her back anymore.

So today, I celebrate all the shy girls that survived, and grew up to be bold, daring, loud, playful and take ALL the space they want and SO freaking deserve!

Putting yourself out there can be scary, especially when you are an introvert, empath and have experienced trauma. 🙋🏽‍♀️ And yet, it is one my most favorite ways to expand and growth....

I put myself in growth opportunities/situations as often and possible; and the reason I keep doing it is because I always get what I want or I gain a lesson. Either way...I win.

Here's a short list of things I have gotten by simply asking (even when I was shaken inside):

Got to be featured on upcoming festival as a sound healer
Arrived late to a sweat lodge and asked if I could join the last pour and was told yes
Asked to be left alone so I could do the work I needed to do solo and my coach not only left but totally understood and graciously left me to do the work
Offered to give a sound bath to a group of bad ass women and was told yes
Asked for feedback and support when feeling exposed/naked/vulnerable and received the most amazing support ever


And that's from the top of my head. I am sure there were other instances when I asked and got what I wanted or learned a lesson. I am training my body to feel comfortable asking for what it wants/needs and understanding that a no is not the end of the world, but a gateway to more growth/opportunities.

Sisters, let me tell you a secret: I almost launched my retreats in a way that DIDN’T fit me. I thought I “had” to do group retreats because that’s what everyone else was doing. But the truth? My original vision was always SOLO HEALED retreats — just you and me, one-on-one, going deep.

When I gave myself permission to pivot back, my whole body exhaled. FREEDOM. ELATION. A surge of joy that told me: this is right.

We’ve been told changing our mind is flaky. Nope. It’s wisdom. It’s evolution. It’s listening to the new data your soul just downloaded.

Me this weekend foraging some herbs for medicine making. I have been dedicating one weekend a month to playing with plants outside, connecting with other women that also love plants and medicine making.

Why is this relevant for the woman I continue to become? Because this version of me plays hard, self-regulates by doing things she thoroughly enjoys. She has hobbies outside of work and pursues meaningful relationships.

All of that translate into a happier and more productive me.

I get more done when I actually do less.

Love, how you doin my sweet friend? Truly I want to know. I have upped my self care and support in the last few weeks! It has made ALL the difference for me.

How are you taking care of your? Especially as the phenomenal healer and space holder you are!

I will never forget the responsibility of resting and keeping my tank full and checking all my needs BEFORE I attempt to take care of others. Making that change has made a HUGE difference in my wellbeing, overa happiness and effectiveness.
