"Blinks are the biggest delulu fandom."
Funny how the people saying this are often the same ones defending accounts that spend their entire day mocking, degrading, and belittling other artists for content.
Meanwhile, a creator with 50k+ subscribers from that fandom makes content that exists solely to drag idols and their achievements, and suddenly it's considered "humor" or "facts." The double standards are honestly impressive.
If a Blink made the exact same type of post about their favorites, there would be endless think pieces, call-outs, and outrage. But when it comes from them, everyone suddenly forgets what toxicity looks like.
We constantly hear:
"Like idols, like fandom."
So if that's the logic, what exactly does this behavior say?
Is insulting artists with years of hard work now considered maturity?
Is mocking people because they haven't achieved the same level of success your favorite artist has somehow acceptable?
Because from where I'm standing, degrading others to uplift your favorites isn't confidence—it's insecurity.
The funniest part is that Blinks get labeled toxic for defending Blackpink, while some people openly spread hate, make disrespectful content, and encourage others to pile on. Yet somehow they're still seen as the "good side."
Success shouldn't be used as a weapon against other artists. Every idol has worked hard, sacrificed, struggled, and earned their place in the industry. Not everyone will achieve the exact same milestones, but that doesn't make them less deserving of respect.
I'd rather support my favorites without tearing others down than spend my time obsessing over artists I claim not to care about.
And let's be honest: if your content depends on insulting another group to get views, maybe the problem isn't the group you're talking about.
BTS and Blackpink have both achieved incredible things. Their success doesn't need fanwars, insults, or made-up narratives to prove it.
At the end of the day, real fans celebrate their idols' achievements. Toxic fans spend more time hating someone else's.
