Today is my IRL Birthday.
I am (unfortunately) 39 years old.
Though, I must say I am genuinely surprised I am still mostly functional.

Not a sob story, and I'm not looking for sympathy or empathy. I'm just being transparent because I believe in saying things as they are.

As some of you may know (or may not), I'm currently being evicted from my current address. I have found somewhere else to go, but the whole situation is a bit complicated and has been taking up a lot of my time and energy.

As a result, I've been dealing with quite a lot of stress recently. I'm only human, and sometimes that gets the better of me.

Case in point: this interaction.

A bloke was commenting on one of my videos and we disagreed on a few things. Normally I'd keep a cooler head, but after a particularly stressful day of packing, sorting things out, and generally dealing with the reality of having to move, I was mentally drained and I didn't handle the conversation as well as I should have.

YouTube has since deleted both my comments and his. I didn't call him anything particularly nasty or make personal attacks, but I was very blunt and I did unapologetically tell him to "fuck off".

Now, I enjoy being blunt. I think it's part of who I am and part of what sets me apart from a lot of people online. However, being blunt and losing your shit aren't necessarily the same thing.

The more I've thought about it, the more I've come to the conclusion that I handled it poorly. This isn't me apologising for my opinions, my views, or the fact that I disagreed with him. I still disagree with him. That's not what this is about.

What I am acknowledging is that I let my frustration get the better of me and reacted more aggressively than I needed to. In future, if a conversation is starting to annoy me that much, I'll simply stop replying rather than continuing to engage.

That's really all there is to it.

If the geeza wants to comment below, that's entirely up to him. Regardless, I'm sorry for losing my shit. I'm not sorry for having a different opinion.

For context, the screenshot below was my final reply before the whole conversation disappeared. Maybe YouTube removed it, maybe he reported it, maybe the system just did its thing. I honestly don't know.

Either way, it's moot now.

It is currently 03:18am - I thought I might checkout and see if I could get onto Barry's server and give it a go.

There are 125 players and the queue is 15 players deep.
at basically 03:20am..

I am not sure its worth trying to ever play it lol.

Hey y'all

I wanted to do a stream on DayZ on HeyBarmby's server but the queues are around 90+ players deep and the only time that's viable to get in would be during a restart. Which is kinda hit or miss.

I would like to have prio but I was told under no uncertain terms I wouldn't be able to get prio unless I was famous.
So that's fun.

I'm not going to schedule a stream for something and then sit in a queue for several hours doing nothing and I'm not going to join the queue and then schedule a stream after the fact I'm in as it'll be such short notice that I won't get in at all.

Maybe if I streamed at a later time, maybe 12am or something, but I'm not sure.

I think it will be safer to give it some time to settle and try to join in the future.

But either way I thought I'd update those of you who care 👌🏻

As many of you know, I have Gout.
Which means from time to time my foot is screaming at me in whatever language feet speak about how much pain it's in.

Yesterday my foot was sore and today it's BLOODY PAINFUL.

So, just so you all know, when I stream today I will have a genuine excuse to being bad at the game 😂

No but seriously, it fookin' hurts.
So idk if I'll be able to stream high intensity battlefield, so we might just play stalker and I can finally continue the main story.

I have done SO MUCH exploring and discovering the map and in doing so have found many mid-late stage weapons and armour that have essentially made my character into a giga-chad. I did so some pretty lengthy side quests that would probably have been good to do on stream but meh.

It's been pretty fun 😊
It has taken over my life a bit, which I guess is a good thing. But it is WAY slower in pace to battlefield so that might make the games a bit weird to play.

We shall see 🤷🏻‍♂️
