It's Megz here and today we’re getting into this HOT OIL PRE-POO routine that literally brought my hair BACK to life!
In today’s video, I’m walking you through my hot oil pre-poo treatment routine and why this step has completely changed my wash day results. If you struggle with dry, brittle, shedding, or hard-to-manage hair, adding a pre-poo before shampoo might be exactly what you need.
I show you step-by-step how I apply my hot oil treatment, how long I leave it on, and why doing this before shampooing helps protect your hair from being stripped. Since adding this to my routine, my hair feels noticeably softer, more manageable, and easier to detangle, especially on wash day.
I also open up about how in 2023 I found out I was anemic, and my hair really suffered during that time. I experienced thinning and increased shedding, and it honestly felt scary watching my hair change. Now, after prioritizing my health and being consistent with protective care routines like this one, my hair is finally feeling strong, soft, and familiar again.
