Update to the video drama: essentially blocked everywhere, auto-defaulted to private. I’m at ‘real life’ work for the night but Thomas is looking into creative ways to get it up on YouTube as-is.

I just uploaded our Grand Prix Final part 2 review. We went into a deep dive of the dance event with brief clips of elements we were talking about - unfortunately every single instance of these clips, as short as they were, were deemed visual content not allowed in the United States or many other territories. Odds are you are blocked from even seeing the entire video on our page. Trying to figure out what we can do in the meantime because there's not much point in going into great detail if we can't show what we are talking about.

Hello everyone! After six weeks of watching each and every Grand Prix event live, we have a rest week as the skaters gear up for the all-important Grand Prix Final. Thomas and I discussed and if there is enough interest, we would like to create a Q&A video over some of the rules, how the elements are scored, or general questions you may have about the season so far-- a hodgepodge of topics, if you will. Please use this post to reply and/or feel free to email me at tonywheelerskating@gmail.com

Hi all, Tony here. After about 6,300 video uploads (and so many more DVDs to get through burning back to files and editing..), I am now using a new video editor that seems to maintain the quality much better than what iMovie was doing throughout these last few years. I would notice once I cut all the videos up to individual performances, the outgoing saved quality would be much fuzzier than what it was from the DVD-- even though the file size would always be increased! That problem should be solved with all newer video uploads. Hope you enjoy, and Thomas & I will be back to discuss the Grand Prix assignments on Friday!
