Welcome to my show, Ava Devine's Bad Advice
On this podcast, I explore sex, relationships, self-image, the taboo and healing through honest, unfiltered conversations. Drawing from my own lived experience and a background in the adult industry, I sit down with experts in psychology, sexology, recovery, and wellness to unpack the things we’re often taught to hide. Nothing is off limits, including questions from my fans.
This is a space to question patterns, challenge shame, and better understand who we are so we can start asking: what does life look like without shame?

What does it mean to rethink adult entertainment and pleasure through a feminist and queer lens?
This week on Ava Devine’s Bad Advice, I sit down with Dahlia Von Knight, owner of Sinners Vault VR and co-founder of Queer Crush. Two feminist and queer-inclusive adult entertainment companies focused on creating ethical, story-driven, erotic content that centers women and queer pleasure.
She breaks down why feminist erotica and centring female and queer pleasure matter. We unpack how mainstream erotica has been shaped by the male gaze, often overlooking authentic intimacy and mutual pleasure.
Episode drops June 24th on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple.

Ava Devine's Bad Advice
This week on Ava Devine's Bad Advice, I sit down with therapist and trauma specialist Ryan Wynder to unpack a question that has been on my mind after receiving recent online attacks:
Why do some people build platforms around mocking, humiliating, and degrading others?
Using my recent experiences involving the comedian Godfrey, podcast Club 520, and online commentators, we explore the psychology behind public ridicule, bullying, body shaming, slut shaming, and attacks against LGBTQ people.
The conversation also examines the broader media culture that often rewards controversy and humiliation. The goal is not to psychoanalyze these individuals, but to explore broader patterns across entertainment and social media.
We discuss whether these attacks are really about the people being mocked or something much deeper happening within the people doing the mocking.
The conversation examines insecurity, projection, groupthink, toxic masculinity, outrage culture, parasocial audiences, and the emotional rewards people receive when they make others feel small. Most importantly, this episode asks a bigger question:
What kind of society are we creating when cruelty becomes entertainment?

Ava Devine's Bad Advice
This week, I go solo to address the recent online attacks directed at me from comedians, podcasts, and strangers who seem to think body shaming, age shaming, and slut shaming qualify as entertainment.
But this episode isn't about being offended by jokes. It's about drawing a line between comedy and cruelty, and standing up for the people who don't have the platform or thick skin to defend themselves.
I discuss the hypocrisy of people who claim certain jokes are off-limits while freely mocking trauma, appearance, sexuality, age, and sex workers for content. I talk about toxic attitudes toward women aging, cosmetic surgery, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ people, while reminding listeners that bullying has real consequences for real people.
Most importantly, this episode is a message to anyone who has ever been made to feel disposable because of their body, age, profession, identity, or past. You are not the joke.
Episode drops June 10th on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple.

Adult Entertainers are some of the most desired people in society, yet when it comes to their safety, healthcare, legal protection, and dignity, they are often treated as disposable.
On this week's episode of Ava Devine's Bad Advice, I sit down with therapist and SWAID Collective co-founder Summer Hart to explore the realities that adult entertainers face beyond stereotypes and stigma.
We talk about discrimination in healthcare and society, the psychological impact of shame, and why community-led organizations like SWAID are providing emergency aid, harm reduction resources, and survival support where larger systems continue to fail.
Summer shares the story behind SWAID, an adult entertainer-led organization providing emergency financial assistance, reproductive healthcare resources, harm reduction supplies, and crisis support for performers and adult entertainers across the country. We also explore the difference between morality and human rights, why empathy is often made conditional, and what a world that truly protects sex workers could look like.
Episode drops June 3rd on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple.

We’re often told that if we change how we look, we’ll finally feel comfortable in ourselves, but what if that feeling never comes from the outside?
In this episode, I sit down with Kimber James to explore body dysmorphia, self-image, and the deep disconnect many people feel from their own bodies. We talk about her experience navigating identity and transition, the pressure women face to conform to beauty standards, and the shame often attached to plastic surgery.
This conversation also weaves in my own experience with self-image and childhood bullying, unpacking how early shame can shape the way we see ourselves for life.
Together, we question whether “fixing” the outside ever truly heals the inside and what it actually means to build self-acceptance in a world that constantly tells us we are not enough.

Will money, beauty and attention make you happy?
This week’s guest is @kietak, a former ’90s supermodel whose experience in the industry led her into addiction, partying, and eventually sex work.
We talk about the loneliness behind that lifestyle, the myths around beauty, money, and validation, and how easy it is to lose yourself chasing an image that was never real to begin with.
This episode is about Kieta’s journey to sobriety, her spiritual awakening and how she rebuilt her life through forgiveness, yoga and connecting to a higher power.
If you ever had a dream that didn’t turn out the way you wanted it to, her story is for you. 💕
