Ok - this is a genuine thank you to all those that have made my music a part of your world this past year. The album TIMING has a collection of songs that I’m super proud of, and performances that were truly magical featuring Justin & Joel. And of course the NEUMANN SESSIONS!!
These sorts of numbers are pretty incredible for a little instrumental guitar artist from Newcastle Australia, and I really appreciate those that have taken the time to listen.
Of course there’s a lot of discussion about the way music is consumed now (and how it’s not exactly great for the musicians or the listeners). But the best thing you can do to support artists is to actually spend money with them! Swipe through to see how!
Great news! I’m able to ship vinyl and CD’s to the USA again! Finally sending off some orders that came in around the tariff announcement today. Currently there’s no tariff applied on music on Vinyl & CD, which is a huge relief!!

What an amazing tour! Definitely one of the most intense I’ve ever done, with many late nights followed by 4am alarms to get to the airport the next day! But so much joy, incredible shows, and incredible people!

I would say I’m a totally independent artist, but it doesn’t happen with this sort of unbelievable support!
Imagine getting to spend a day in Studio 606 (owned by Foo Fighters), playing music with great friends (Joel Gottschalk & Justin Glasco), being recorded on the Sound City Neve Console with Neumann microphones?! I still can’t believe this happened! And the full video and EP are out now!
Incredibly I got to take the tracks home and mix this, and it was so much fun putting it together. Little engineer note. There’s only reverb added to the guitar amp - the massive drum sounds are just the KU100 & room mics in the mix! What a room!!
Oh, there’s a couple of bonus acoustic songs that aren’t on the EP at the end of the video too!
My new trio album ‘Timing’ will be released Friday April 18! Recorded in Los Angeles with the exceptional Joel Gottschalk on Bass & Justin Glasco on Drums, we managed to track this in just 5 hours before we did a show on the same day! It features the singles ‘What I Want To Hear’, ‘Light And Shadows’, & ‘Moving Pianos’.
I’m super proud of how this project turned out. It was really only meant to be the precursor to a bigger project, but ended up having such a unique vibe, it needed to stand on its own.
You can pre-order the hi-res digital version (that will come with several bonus tracks) or the limited edition vinyl at a special pre-order price right now! Vinyl delivery will be approximately late May 2025.
For now, I’ve decided to not do a CD run, but please let me know if you’d really like it on CD and I may be convinced to do a very limited run. You can also pre-save to your favourite streaming service - you know where the 🔗 are….
