Hello everybody! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, I just wanted to give you a small update on the backyard build and everything going on.
Im on the final (large) steps for the backyard build. I’m currently measuring for the 2 post lift that should be installed in the next week or so.
Then from there it’s squarebody prep for overland expo west and a couple summer trips along with some work on the jeep and other things.
I have a rock crawling trip ready to edit but to be honest it’s been hard to edit with pushing to finish the backyard before the summer heat and working 55+hr weeks.

I hope you’re all having a great weekend! This isn’t “overlanding” related but it’s part of my life.
I’m leveling out part of my back yard to get some shipping containers dropped to make a shop. Also planning on a concrete slab and a two post lift to work on rigs.
Sorry for the lack out video output but having a 55+ hour a week job, juggling life and everything else that’s thrown at you sometimes videos need to be put on the back burner. Thanks for understanding and I hope you all have a great weekend and a few trail sodas 🍻

Well it’s been a while since I’ve messed with the jeep… but I started it today for the first time in 8 months and it started up fine with a jump box and idled it for about 30mins with no issues.
I forgot how cool it ran! Idled at 190 with AC on when ambient temp was 110.
The jeep has a few issues that need fixing. First things first is a new cylinder head. I need to replace it since I broke that bolt (and extractor) when filming the stage 8 fasteners video. The current setup is allowing exhaust gas to flow and contact the hood and it’s discoloring the paint and heating up under hood temps which can affect the cooling system.
Second thing is I need new wheels and tires. From a previous wheeling trip I destroyed a wheel and 2 tires and the jeep isn’t road or wheeling worthy with the set it has. I’m between beadlocks or method beadgrip wheels and Mickey Thompson MT’s or Cooper STT Pros for the next tire setup!
I also want your feedback! Please comment and give me suggestions for wheel and tire setups!

Well if so, We have some BIG NEWS! We got accepted to be in the DIY Showcase to show off the Squarebody Overlander! If you’re attending the expo come by and check out the truck! We are presenting the truck, doing a walk around and talking about our adventures that Saturday (5/17) at 4pm so stop on by!
