Hillwood is an upscale, established residential neighborhood located in West Nashville, Tennessee, positioned just north of Belle Meade and south of Charlotte Pike. Known for its rolling hills, dense old-growth trees, and large private lots, it offers a secluded, quiet suburban retreat located roughly seven miles west of Downtown Nashville. Most single-family homes sit on spacious, private lots measuring at least one full acre. Properties range from original 1950s and 1960s mid-century brick ranch homes to modern custom builds, contemporary estates, and Greek Revivals.Tear-Down. Given the prime location and large lot sizes, the area sees frequent historic property tear-downs replaced by multi-million dollar luxury new construction. Traditional, original ranch homes typically start around $800,000. Modernized luxury estates and new builds regularly command between $2 million and $7 million. Modern townhomes and condos along the northern edge range from $225,000 to $850,000
