Some of you guys have been asking for a more wholesome Olive short after the Basilisk short put Olive through the ringer, and you know what, why not give the girl a break? Because it's so wholesome, there's not really much to say about this one, except that this was part of the reason why gardening is very special to Olive and became one of the ways she de-stresses.
Ok, I feel like the last short confused a bunch of people, so here's some clarification.
Yes, Jillian has a prosthetic leg. She was born without a leg, and has had a prosthetic since she was a kid. No, she is not missing BOTH of her legs (I don't know how this was thought), her left leg is just fine. For visual learners, here's a handy dandy chart on Jillian (and a color sheet for those who want that, although I guess the O'Death film already had her in color, so that's redundant). If you want to know how she misplaced the prosthetic leg in the short, read the post before this.
Jillian is a strange child. Very observant on small details yet prone to missing very obvious things in front of her. Having sticky fingers for shiny and useless things, but often losing and misplacing many of her belongings. Very learned on insects and their biology, but harboring a complete repulsion of them in real life.
Byron doesn't quite understand her, but he's trying, and he does love the color she brings to his life (even if it means he has to travel back to a town an hour behind them to pick up her leg, only to find out it was under a blanket in the back of the hearse the whole time).
Today I wanted to give a little bit more explanation on one of the worlds I've made, which I've dubbed The Curse Universe (I feel like there's a more clever name for it, but that's what I've got for now). You've only caught glimpses of it from the Outlaw of GoldClaw and the "Carnival of the Cursed" short, but there's a lot more to it than that.
You see, in a world a lot like ours, there's dark things that lurk in the shadows. Curses wrought from family spilling the blood of their own. These curses can latch onto anything: objects, people, even entire family lines. Leave them be for enough time, they can even turn into Vile Vortexes, places disconnected from our reality that run on their own strange logic.
There are many curses in this world. An old west valley infected by the lingering spirits of ancient blood money. A forsaken family line who vow to contain accursed objects. An endless manor stalked by the twisted memories of the family that lived there. A malformed circus of wayward souls overseen by an evil eye in the sky. Blood sucking undead that can only be vanquished by their shadow wielding progeny. A desert crossroads where anything can crossover into our reality. And there's more, much more.
I have no idea if I'll ever get to show you guys the true extent of this world, all the tales I've thought of inside of it, but I hope you enjoyed the taste for now and it got some of your creative juices flowing.
Have a great day, ya'll!
(Also before you ask, that's not Crow in the bottom left)
Give a warm welcome to the Revolver and Ricochet's bosses: President George Kardos and VP Medea Sinclair, the current heads of the Shard Republic.
Kardos was a the top general during the Shard Rebellion, being the one to organize the rebellion into something tangible and lead the colonists to victory. He and Ricochet have a pretty good relationship, being friends forged in war, which is why he trusts her to handle the Revolver (plus Ricochet needed something to do after the war and kept bothering him to give her an assignment). He definitely doesn't have the best relationship with the Revolver (Dallas especially), but knows that he doesn't have much options given that they're running low on man power and need someone to bring in all the war criminals.
Medea was in charge of the Everymen during the war, and she was known to be very cold, strict, and emotionless to both enemy and ally. Ricochet is kinda afraid of her due to her experience as her wartime subordinate, and, if you couldn't tell, Dallas definitely doesn't like her either, rage baiting her whenever he can. He's very lucky that Ricochet can always smooth things over with the both of them, otherwise he would've had a bayonet shoved down his throat. Still, Ricochet doesn't like being made a fool of, especially in front of her bosses, and definitely had Dallas have it after the meeting was over.
Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful, wonderful mother! She is not just a mother to me, but a mother to many, so I drew her with some of the children she's picked up over the years. I love you so so much mama!
This was a peculiar short today, as it was basically a clip from my "111 Winchester" animatic with some subtitles, but I kinda wanted to see if doing this would boost some of the views for the video proper. So basically see this as a sort of experiment. Besides, after having not posted for so long, I feel like I need to post something to make sure the algorithm remembers my channel exists. I hope by next week I'll actually get a proper short done, but we'll see.
Btw, thank you for all so so much for the birthday wishes and support on the new video! I'm so happy to have an audience like yours, you guys are really the best (and sorry for all the people I jump scared at midnight on April 26th, that was not intentional lol). Hope you all have a wonderful day!
(Also, if I take a bit to respond, I am probably dealing with exhaustion and achy-ness from my friend's wedding yesterday. Had a fantastic time, but being the maid of honor was a lot of work. Be sure to sure to leave some nice congratulatory comments for Emily and her husband in case she reads this.)
Hey everybody! I really hope you enjoyed the video, because I spent a LOT of time on it. This is like the longest time it has ever taken me to make one of these music animatics (mostly because of the backgrounds).
This video is actually set pretty early in the story, being the first encounter Olive has with Stalker and Bloom, and before she even properly meets Tony. This is actually Olive's first time even learning his name. Also, for the eagle-eyed lore heads, you might notice that this is where Olive finds the locket that is occasionally seen on her nightstand and conspiracy board. Olive goes on to basically use this house in the woods as her base of operations, since she learns fairly quickly that hiding her conspiracy board in her closet is pretty risky if her parents look through her room. Plus, it's got some other secrets that Olive has yet to uncover...
This video was incredibly rewarding to make, especially the action scenes, and I would very much appreciate you guys to share it around if you liked it. Also, since the video is entirely copyrighted music and thus will make absolutely no money, consider supporting me on Ko-Fi. The link is in my channel description and all of my video descriptions. Any amount is super appreciated.
I hope you all have a fantastic day!
(also, I'm currently visiting my brother, so it may take a bit to reply to you guys. sorry lol)

There's a place up north where no one ever goes. Yet why do I feel like it's not empty?
Come on up on April 26th, 12 PM PST, to find out for yourself...
