I'm Cheryl, and I live in Central BC, Canada. As a woman over 50, I've come to accept a few things about myself, the first being that I'm always changing! The things that haven't changed, though, are my love of pretty things, a vintage English Country Cottage aesthetic, and finding new and new-to-me items that give me that dopamine rush. I also live with a chronic illness - psoriatic arthritis - and this has had a significant impact on my life. However, I try to Keep Calm & Carry On and continue doing the things I love.
On my channel, I post videos every Sunday, and we chat about:
- perfumes and fragrances, especially affordable Middle Eastern scents,
- plus-size fashion, beauty, & hair,
- gardening in Zone 3 (Central BC, Canada)
- home decor and organisation,
- life with a chronic illness,
- my weight loss journey,
- navigating mid-life.

I’ve only discovered the online fragrance community within the past year, and began building my collection. Before that, I struggled under the “rule” that you should have only one “signature scent”; a rule I’m very pleased to see broken. I love exploring different scent profiles and notes, and learning about this whole wonderful world of perfumery and fragrance collection.
I also create videos and vlogs about gardening, home decor, plus/mid-size fashion, hair & beauty, and navigating mid-life as a person with a chronic illness. So, a bit of a mixed bag, but perfume will always be a mainstay on my channel.

Alexa, play My Favourite Things.
No raindrops on roses here, just a lot of things that I keep going back to. As my skin, body, and tolerance level for BS are changing as I’ve gotten older, I’m learning more about what works for me now.
Do you have any products or things that you find “just work” for you? Not necessarily beauty products, either - for instance, my SodaStream is probably my most used appliance in the house. Share your favourites in the comments!
