Cinema is failing because movies are being made by people who don't watch them for people who don't watch them. They are making these movies not for people to enjoy, they are making them for newscasters and woke bloggers who talk about them online not for their film making techniques but for their political talking points. Even when they try to make movies for people who actually buy tickets to them and go to their screenings they are making movies for people who are going to be on their phones the entire time, making sure the plot isn't too much for someone with that kind of attention span...and thats just as stupid because these aren't the people who buy movies and keep them alive by rewatching them and talking about them online to the point of giving them mythology.
