Medicinal Genomics was born from Courtagen Life Sciences, a CLIA certified genetics testing laboratory that specializes in identifying rare pediatric neurological conditions. Courtagen and Medicinal Genomics share a Chief Science Officer, Kevin McKernan, who worked on the Human Genome Project and was the first scientist to sequence the Cannabis genome. The collective expertise between Courtagen and Medicinal Genomics puts our teams in a unique position to begin to understand the relationship between human and cannabis genetics.
