It’s 75 years since The Goon Show graced the airwaves. Originally known as ‘Crazy People’, the surreal radio comedy show would go on to influence other comedians, notably Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

80 years ago in 1946 British broadcaster Alistair Cooke began his long-running and much-loved radio series ‘Letter From America’. Documents and photographs from the BBC Archive show the progression of his successful career.

Lost Doctor Who episodes, that haven't been viewed since airing in the 1960s, have been found in an 'eclectic' collection. Restored versions of the episodes will be released on ‪@BBC‬ iPlayer this Easter.
