hello my fellow fangirls! 🐚🌊☀️ as you probably know by now, I am doing a rewatch series for The Summer I Turned Pretty this summer. each Wednesday, I'll deep dive into every episode I have yet to talk about on the channel. every video will be added to my TSITP playlist, so all my musings on Conrad Fisher can live in one spot.

I also wanted to assure all my Gilmore Girlies that I will have a new video out soon, and will get to a regular posting cadence again. I was under the weather last week which delayed a lot of my plans to pre-film content, but I'm getting back on track!

to be completely honest with you all, most of the videos you will see this week were videos I originally intended to upload at the end of last week or over the weekend, but my attention was in other places. however, I am so excited to say my *spoiler-free* Regretting You review is now live! I've seen a lot of criticism of this movie, and I don't understand most of it tbh. a good time is a good time!

the rest of the week will include my Frankenstein review, Gilmore Girls 117-121 analysis, Gilmore Girls 201-205 analysis, and one mystery video that I think you'll love (hint: 🎄)

I wanted to sincerely thank you all for the love you have given all my short-form content lately, and how many of you watched and commented on my first Gilmore Girls video 🥰 It felt like a bit of a risk to switch to an older show after growing so much of my audience on TSITP analysis, but you have shown up for me in droves and I so appreciate it! So many new shows/movies are coming our way to fangirl over (Nobody Wants This S2, Maxton Hall S2, People We Meet on Vacation, and Bridgerton S4) so I hope there is something for everyone to get excited about.

they're defrosting 🍂☕️ first Gilmore Girls video comes out tomorrow!

Hope you're all ready for a cozy show to help us cope after The Summer I Turned Pretty finale 🥰 For now, I plan to watch approximately 5 (give or take a few) episodes before making a video breaking down my thoughts and reactions or analyzing the plots and character. This way, I have enough to talk about each video and it doesn't take us forever to finish watching the whole show. Some of you have mentioned you'll be watching or re-watching the show alongside me, so I will keep you updated here or on my Instagram about what point I've hit so we can treat this almost like a book club.

Because there are some iconic moments of this show, I will find a way to figure out where those moments are without spoiling the show for myself and make sure to do a big livestream or individual episode breakdown for those episodes (feel free to share your favorites with a spoiler-free context below!) I am beyond excited to talk more about this show with y'all, as well as some of our other favorite series that are coming back this fall 🤗

'twas the night before The Summer I Turned Pretty ended...

Emotional is a total understatement; this show has meant so much to me and talking about it with y'all every week has brought me so much joy! I hope to see you guys tomorrow night to breakdown the finale (I won't be watching it on stream, but I will certainly be ready to yap about it).

For those of you wondering what we'll be talking abut next, I'm planning to watch Gilmore Girls for the first time ever this fall because I saw too many comparisons of Jess and Conrad and needed to analyze that hehe 🍂☕️

I've also started watching My Life With the Walter Boys and I know a lot of you watch it too, so expect a video on season 1 soon 🥰 if y'all have any other show recs or things you'd be interested in hearing me talk about, leave them in the comments!
