That doll that's just... *the one*. The one you reach for no matter what kind of day you're having, the one you'd grab if you were going to lose them all and could only save one.

After a couple of tough weeks, I’m enjoying a slow, gentle day with Rowan 🌿🤍 I love all of my dolls, but this one… There’s something so perfect about him 💛 He embodies everything I love in a lifelike baby doll 🍃 He has the durability of a manufactured doll, a touch of reborn artistry, a sweet, gentle expression that lends itself to building personality, and a weight and softness that make him melt into me 🤍🌱 For so many reasons, he represents creativity, friendship, comfort, and warmth 🌼💖 He’s brought joy, not only to me, but to friends, former coworkers, my grandmother who has dementia, one of her caregivers, and even my beloved cat 🐾💚

Rowan is an Ann Lauren doll 🌿 He was manufactured in Spain, given light, hand-painted detailing there, rooted with synthetic hair made in Italy, dressed and assembled in the US, and finally purchased and given a reborn cloth body and custom weighting by me 🤍🍃 This makes him unique in my collection, not only for what he brings to me emotionally, but for how he came to be 💛🌱
