The fact that southeast asians want to be lighter and people in the west wants to be more tanned… and both beauty standards came from the SAME historical reason 🤯
Historically, rich people stayed indoors - so they were pale.
Working class people were outside all day - so they were tanned.
100 years later and now everyone's chasing the beauty standard of the class above them 😅 South East Asian still like lighter skin tone while in the west, being tanned means being able to go/afford holidays.
The beauty industry is built on this. and we're all in it without realising.

I used to think my skin was perfect. I was young, my skin was clear, nothing needed fixing.
Then I turned 25.🥹
Fine lines started appearing around my eyes. Dark spots on my cheeks from sun exposure I'd never thought twice about. My skin was changing and I had absolutely no idea what to do about it.
That's when I found Korean skincare.
And honestly? My first reaction was confusion. Toner, serum, ampoule, essence… Why are there so many steps? What even is a toner? I genuinely didn't know. It all looked complicated and unnecessary to me.
I knew what peptides were from biology lectures. I had no idea they could do anything useful for your skin.
I started watching videos to figure it all out. Some of them helped. But a lot of them felt like they were selling me something. The authenticity was missing. I kept wishing someone would just explain things honestly without the filter and the agenda.
I also wished I had people to talk to. Real people who were figuring it out alongside me.
Now I'm a creator. I share educational content as accurately as I can. I share my authentic experience. I only recommend products I actually like. I try to be the person I wished existed when I was starting out.
But here's something I've noticed: so many beauty creators hide behind a screen. Filters make it easy to fake things online. I don't want to do that. And I think in-person connection is something no algorithm, no comment section, no AI can replicate, especially now.
That's why I'm creating this space/event.
A room for skincare lovers and K-beauty curious people to connect, share experiences, and access honest skincare education in person. No filters. No sales pitch. Just real conversations.☺️
If that sounds like what you've been looking for, join us in London on 23rd May. I can't wait to see you there.❤️☺️

Your EGF serum might be doing nothing.
Here's why 👇
EGF is a 53-amino-acid peptide it's too big to just sink into your skin on its own.
To actually make it work:
→ Exfoliate first
→ Use a liposome formula
→ Or pair it with microneedling (sterile serum only!)
And then? Wait 2 weeks. Patience is part of the protocol.

Most people jump into retinol without knowing the basics — and end up with a damaged skin barrier, irritation, and redness.
Retinol is one of the most powerful skincare ingredients out there. It boosts collagen, speeds up skin cell turnover, and helps with acne, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines. But only if you use it correctly.
In this video, I'm breaking down exactly how to choose the right retinol for YOUR skin so you can get results without the damage.
Watch now! the most important tips are at the end!

“Botox in a bottle” sounds impressive… but does Argireline actually deliver? 💭
Short answer: kind of — but very mildly.
It helps reduce tiny muscle contractions, which may soften expression lines over time.
But it won’t replace real treatments — and it’s not meant to.
The smarter move?
Use it with proven, multi-action ingredients ✨
