A shocking murder case has surfaced from the Majhola police station area of Uttar Pradesh, where a woman allegedly conspired with her lover and two others to kill her husband. Police said 30-year-old Pawan Thakur of Kundanpur was first given an electric shock and later injected with poison. The accused allegedly lured him to his wife Aanchal’s parental home before carrying out the murder.

A major police action unfolded in Berhampur after a viral video showed a youth being attacked with a sword in Ambika Nagar under Bada Bazar police limits. Within five hours of the video surfacing online, police tracked down accused Jaga Sahu. According to police, the accused attempted to flee by hurling bombs, following which officers opened fire during an encounter operation. Jaga Sahu sustained bullet injuries in both knees and was admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital.
