My 8 year old daughter was leaving for her exam.

"𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗮 𝗱𝘂𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮. 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗶 𝗵𝘂𝗶."

I asked her one question.

Your friend worked hard for days.
Prepared everything.
And also made dua.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗮.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁?
She didn't even think twice.

"𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗼."

𝟴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱. Got it instantly.

𝗗𝘂𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵. Effort without dua is arrogance.

The winning formula has always been both.

We pray for 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 but don't prepare.
We pray for 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 but don't build skills.
We pray for 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 but don't show up.

Do your part first. Then ask.
That is the deal.

After 10 years.
After 15-16 hour shifts.
After coming home at midnight and still opening YouTube to learn.

Jab kama nahi raha tha — "𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐚 𝐤𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐧𝐚𝐡𝐢."
Jab kamana shuru kiya — "𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐤𝐢 𝐤𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐢 𝐡𝐚𝐢."

Same people. Same faces. Different excuses.

No complaints though.

But here's what I want you to understand:

𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐲.

Your mind never chases what it believes is bad for it.

So if someone has spent years telling you that money is dirty, evil, or haram

your own subconscious will sabotage every single attempt you make to earn it.

You won't apply.
You won't pitch.
You won't ask for what you deserve.

And then you'll wonder why you're always broke.
