Ladies, this week's reminders 🤍
Quote of the week: “Funny how perfection can mean a million things. Tonight, it’s a boy and supermarket salads, the air tasting of salt and second chances, and a butterfly feeling in my chest.”
― Caroline George, The Summer We Forgot 🌸
I came across this quote and I thought it perfectly describes the feeling that "perfection" is not some grand display or crowning achievement. It is the little moments that make us feel like:"This. This is what it's all about." That feeling of coming home after an incredible first date with someone you can't wait to see again, lying out under the stars with your love and just soaking it all in, or the quiet mornings with no where in particular to be. This is perfection. Don't rush it. Don't waste it. There is nothing more perfect than this moment.
Song of the week: Like a Tattoo by Sade 🖤
This is such an ethereal and almost heavenly song. It reminds me of being out under the moon with someone close. A very beautiful song :) Here is a link to our growing playlist: open.spotify.com/playlist/2BJFbz62WKLs0TKkfo8g0K?s…
Activity of the week: 💛
Make a list/board of things that "Make Me Happy"! A couple of weeks ago, I went through and tried to come up with some activities, experiences, and thoughts that tend to help make me feel good :) Some of the things I listed were, "eating fresh fruit, going to the beach, sketching, being in the sun, being with positive people, learning new things, etc. It's great resource haha to come back to when you want to have a fun day, need a little boost in mood, or just want to remember good memories! You can take your time and make it a beautiful vision board as well! If you ever want to share what you've made, you can send me an email to napreads@gmail.com.
I hope your summer has been off to a wonderful start, and continue to enjoy your time! - Jazz 💓

Quote of the week 🌸
“The greatest danger of all, losing one’s self, can occur very quietly in the world, as if it were nothing at all”
Our lifestyles, the stress of daily life, falling into a routine, etc. can cause us to simply lose track of ourselves. Our minds often have a very strong recency-bias, which in turn, makes it easy to forget old habits, ways we used to feel when around certain friends or family members, and even the way our personality was shaped. I find myself sometimes trying to put together a text response to someone and attempting to pull myself into the state of mind I had with this person. How was I so witty? So free? It’s like I’m trying to find a part of my personality that I’ve somehow lost. Change and indeed growth are often good, necessary, and can bring beautiful things and new experiences into our lives. But, be careful not to lose yourself along the way. She was there from the beginning. Hold her hand darling, and bring her along for the ride 💕

Quote of the week: “Little cures as much as a sunrise in Spring” - Jazz original
I wrote this a couple of years ago after being kept awake nearly all night worried about something. I must admit, I don’t even recall what exactly it was that caused the anxiety. Which, actually makes this even more true. I remember I saw the sunrise, watched it begin with the faintest of light, listened to the birds begin to wake, and it somehow changed my mood right then. It was so beautiful, and so peaceful and just gave me this feeling that it was to be okay. The sunrise is proof that something beautiful follows the darkness. And remember, little cures as much as a sunrise in Spring 🤍
Song of the week 🖤 Home by LEISURE
This is a chill, melodic song that has such a warm and inviting vibe. I also really like the lyrics haha and it just feels like a warm hug on a sunny afternoon at home. Here is a link to our growing playlist: open.spotify.com/playlist/2BJFbz62WKLs0TKkfo8g0K?s…
Activity of the week:
Watch a sunrise. Wake up early enough that you can see the first specks of light on the horizon. Brew some coffee or tea, sit out on your balcony, porch, or just look out of your window, and feel how the sunrise makes everything seem just a little bit lighter. 🌸
I hope you all have a beautiful week ahead, and much love - Jazz 🤍

Quote of the week 💘
"Why does it still hurt? ...because it mattered." This quote almost brought me to tears the first time I heard it. Okay I admit, it did bring me to tears. It's been about two years since we last spoke and it still absolutely crushes me when I hear our songs. I've cried in the car more times than I love to admit. But what this shows me is that I am capable of a love that is so encompassing that I can't breathe. A love that I will never forget. I hope and trust that one day I may find that love again. And I oh so sincerely hope the same for you 💕

This song is hauntingly beautiful. It is so precious in a young-innocent-love type of way. It fits the quote perfectly and I think you'll find it lovely

Ladies, this week's reminders 🤍
Quote of the week 🌺 "If your life were a 24 hour day, 30 would only be 9 in the morning..." I saw that quote last week and I was actually shocked to find out that is true lol. At first glance, that doesn't even seem possible. For most of us, (I'm in my mid twenties), it certainly feels like it's a lot later in the day! And I think some of this simply comes from the fact that our life has been building for what feels like forever to us. It seems like we've been around for so so long, and we've learned so much that naturally it's probably nearing the end. There can't possibly be that much more to do and that much to learn, but oh, how that is such a deception! I think a beautiful way to flip this around is to realize that this lifetime that already feels like such a lengthy process, is just the beginning. That was just the night. You have multiple lifetimes to go. If you're 25 now, just ten years ago you were 15, A freshman in high school, and twenty years ago, you were 5, barely able to form a sentence. You have two more lifetimes and maybe even three. Except this time, you're driving the whole thing. That should feel so invigorating! Spend that summer in Europe at 34, take that study abroad to learn French when you're 29. Get a master's in creative writing at 45. Become a professional chef at 52. The world is now open to you. Forget the deadlines, the timelines, the schedules. Your life has only just begun. You've finished the tutorial, now, let's have some fun! :) - Jazz
Song of the week 🎧
On the Avalon Stairs - Fruit Bats
This song is a warm, vibe, indie song by a group I've been listening to a lot lately. It's sort of a deep message overset, but it also has a summer vibe. The theme is that we "will not lie to ourselves" and just accepting everything as is. I personally think it's a good song for just lying out in the sun haha don't think too hard, just enjoy it! Activity of the week 🌞
Dress in something that makes you feel beautiful, empowered, feminine, and do a photo-shoot. Try to truly get into it, let your insecurities fade, and try to get into your body and out of your head :) you could do the photoshoot yourself (or even more meaningful, find a girlfriend and support each other in this) I've heard some ladies like to go off into the forest, so they can truly feel comfortable, or reconnect with their ethereal beauty in the water. It's up to you 🩷
And once again 💛 thank you for all of the comments, love, and messages, I truly appreciate each and every one of you, and I absolutely adore the community we've created! Our little corner of the internet, where everyone is so kind and supportive 💕

Quote of the week 🌸 “I do! I do! I do love you! But what if the only way I can is from afar?” - Jazz original
I think it’s so important to be able to say “I love you, I really do” and mean it, and still walk away. Sometimes we have been hurt, betrayed, and treated in a way that might be able to be forgiven, but cannot and perhaps should not be forgotten. We should never put ourselves in a situation we know to be unsafe or cruel. It’s not fair to us (that sweet little soul we are entrusted with) to keep them somewhere they cannot feel safe. Walking away, and feeling like we are abandoning someone can be very guilt-inducing, but it’s so so so important that we move from a place of love from afar. That could mean family members that have caused you to lose your spark by negativity or judgement, old relationships that made you feel small, friendships that are no longer fulfilling but draining, or anything that is not guiding you to your love. Take a step back. Say goodbye. And say I do, I do love you. But perhaps the only way I can, is from afar.
Song of the week 🌑
After All - piano version by Sarah Kinsley
It’s certainly a bit of a sadder song, but it fits the quote well I think and is such a sweet and beautiful song in a dark and deep way (in my opinion haha). Definitely an amazing song for a rainy day looking out the window in a blanket. I definitely think a little bit of sad and light is good in a blend 🖤 Here is a link to our growing playlist!: open.spotify.com/playlist/2BJFbz62WKLs0TKkfo8g0K?s…
Activity of the week 🤍
Read a book in a beautiful garden :) If you have one in your yard, all the better! But usually, you can manage to find a little bit of a garden, gazebo, or something similar at a park where you can bring a blanket, a book, perhaps a bottle of rosé, and just relax. It’s a little bit of a whimsy activity and perfect for weather right now!
As always, I hope you enjoy yourself this week, and stay beautiful 💗 - Jazz

Ladies, this weeks reminders 💕
🤍 Quote of the week:
"You can be mad as a mad dog at the way things went. You can swear and curse the fates. But when it comes to the end, you have to let go."
I think a good way to look at this is to acknowledge that it is OKAY to be sad, mad, or even furious. It is your right to feel every emotion you feel about something not going how you hoped or how you imagined it. It can feel devastating at times when you finally get something or an experience you thought would be perfect and it just seems to fall short. Or when a relationship/friendship ends that you thought would last forever. Feel that anger. Feel that pain. Let it out. Break a plate. And then...pick yourself up.. and be grateful it happened and excited for what comes next. Because trust me, something better is coming. I can feel it for you :)
🖤 Song of the week:
It ain't over til it's over by Lenny Kravitz
This one kind of fits in with our theme, plus it's an amazing summer song!

💗 Activity of the week:
Pick up something small you see when you're out and about and add it to your journal. Just something small to remember a special moment from. A flower petal, a leaf, it could be anything. What matters it that it is special to you!
I hope you have a wonderful week, and so enjoy yourself! 💕
