Founder to founder talks in the AI era where the boundaries between natural and artificial are dissolving

I'm Sergey Osipov, tech entrepreneur and investor. Founded 20+ ventures, including a unicorn. Learned that the best insights come from real chat, not polished prezos. Current projects: Playsense.agency (2022), Placy.ai (2024), Naturally Artificial (2026)

We talk about what actually matters: building in the age of AI, raising capital in the EU when the rules keep shifting, and strategy for an era that's rewriting everything we know about business. Founders sharing hard-earned wisdom here

Episodes are in English and Russian, the main languages of my folks

I call myself a Belarusian-Cypriot. Moved to this island 12 years ago. Back then "Cyprus startup ecosystem" sounded like a joke. Look at it now. Talent is moving here. Money is moving here. Business communities in every corner!

My new guest saw it from day one. Stavriana Kofteros โ€” founder of W11 Ventures, European Innovation Council ambassador, former adviser to the President. In 2013, in the middle of the banking crisis, she co-wrote the Startup Manifesto. The government took 12 years to deliver

Her recipe for founders is simple: tough love. Stop complaining that the island is small. Your market was never in your backyard. And maybe not all places should become Silicon Valley. We have our own way

So who actually makes all those game trailers?

There's a hidden industry behind the video games industry โ€” a small group of creators who make nothing but trailers. In-house studios. Independent creative agencies. They sit outside traditional game development. But they're the reason you slam that Wishlist button โ€” or don't

About 10 agencies in the world compete for each project. A hidden industry behind the industry

All of us are riding the whirlwind of the post-pandemic market: layoffs, turnover, AI backlash. For them, every day is the eye of the storm

We're making a documentary about the people who make the trailers. Here's the first teaser

AI is cheaper than craft? Not in gaming! ๐ŸŽฎ Players hate AI. AAA studios get cancelled. Community revolts๐Ÿ‘พ So yes, studios use AI. But you can't say it out loud. Not publicly. Not even close. The elephant in the room: an industry worth $200B+ is quietly building on tech it's ashamed to admit using

My guest is a co-founder of Playsense, a top-10 creative agency globally in the space, making trailers for Riot, Wargaming, Ubisoft, Tencent. One of the most awarded European creative powerhouses. Alex Brodsky says a marketing agency is the easiest biz to start. Your first clients ARE your investors. But how do you survive in a market that is still down from the pandemic?

The episode is full of insights for all ad/marketing/creative teams and their clients. Iโ€™ve founded 2 agencies, after all ๐Ÿ™‚ So, go ahead and watch it!

The scariest thing about vibecoding is not that everyone does startups. Itโ€™s the fact that everyone shows a demo

He run Call of Duty, Destiny, World of Tanks Blitz. 17 years at Activision, 10 at Wargaming

When I found Thaine Lyman is in Warsaw, I got on a plane. We talked about where GameDev is really going, who survives, and what to do if you're building something right now. His take: worst time to raise money. Best time to build

Funny pattern. Every cycle, the bottleneck moves one layer down the stack. Talent โ†’ infra โ†’ attention โ†’ compute โ†’ whatโ€™s next?

โ†’ 2010: startups raised to hire developers
โ†’ 2015: startups raised to rent AWS
โ†’ 2020: startups raised to buy clicks
โ†’ 2026: startups raise to buy tokens
โ†’ 2030: startups raise to buy electricity? Data? Trust?

Your bet for 2030?๐Ÿ‘‡

A new problem: too many AI agents

A year ago, companies begged staff to use AI. Some firms pay bonuses for burning the most tokens. Mission accomplished. Now we're drowning. Meet AI agent sprawl!

Imagine 5k people corp. Dozens of new agents created daily. They plugged into corp mail. Customer data. Internal docs. Some duplicate each other. Some are security holes. All of them burn tokens/cash

Gartner says the Fortune 500 will soon run 150,000 agents that listen, speak, and act (like Placy.ai ๐Ÿ‘‹). 150k. Bigger than most armies! They write emails. Sign SaaS contracts. Ping the CEO at 6amโ€ฆ

My bet: the next startup wave will be kill switches. The DevOps of agents. Boring on a pitch deck. Gold in five years. Anyone already building this? Drop a comment๐Ÿ‘‡

Doom-scrolling or slow media โ€” where are you right now? Be honest. Share in the comments

The internet is about to slow down. That's exactly why I launched a project of long-form founder-to-founder video-interviews โ†’ in the carousel

Amazing story from a founder of 2 unicorns Uri Levin:

There was a very successful CEO in New York who was constantly ignoring the media and never gave an interview, not even one. Until one day a reporter from the New York Times calls him up and did answer. The reporter asked him for 2 minutes and as he was in a pretty good mood after a very successful year, he agreed.

The first question that the reporter asked was - how you become such a successful CEO, and the CEO replied "Two words - right decisions". Ok, but how do you know how to make those right decisions the reported asked? He replied "One word - experience!". The reporter then went deeper - how do you gain this experience? and the CEO replied "Two words - wrong decisions."

Second time entrepreneur have way higher likelihood of being successful, regardless what happened on the first journey.

Sam Altman's World (the eyeball-scanning project) is integrating with Tinder. Yes, to verify human dating against deepfakes

AI profiles already outnumber real ones on some apps. Bots DM you. Bots match with you. Bots write better than most humans! And people reply ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ™ˆ

The new stack:
Email โ†’ Proof of human
Datingโ†’ Proof of human
Comments โ†’ Proof of human
Feeds โ†’ ?..
Marketplaces โ†’ ?..

Hard to believe, but we're arrived. Tinder is writing the first check

The irony? The company that introduced AI to us 3 years ago is now charging for protection against it ๐Ÿ‘พ Chef's kiss
