The Toyota Innova Hycross facelift has been spotted testing on Indian roads. A full wrap indicates that the changes aren't just going to be visual. Some features and functional bits could possibly receive a major overhaul.
The side profile remains identical to its existing version, but the front and rear ends could change. Inside the cabin, a larger infotainment, improved 360° cameras, rear-seat massage, and more features in the ADAS suite are likely.
Powertrain options are likely to stay the same - 2.0-litre petrol and strong hybrid with outputs of 170bhp/204Nm and 186bhp/191Nm, respectively. However, we expect it to support ethanol blends of up to E85 (flex fuel).

Renault has launched the Duster Adventure Edition for ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). What's surprising, is the fact that it's ₹40,000-₹50,000 more affordable than the Techno variant.
It layers cosmetic enhancements, which include an Adventure decal with geographical co-ordinates of Leh, and Adventure-specific badges and floor mats.
This edition is offered with 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre (MT/AMT) versions, and these are the prices:
Adventure 1.0 MT: ₹12.99 lakh
Adventure 1.3 MT: ₹13.99 lakh
Adventure 1.3 AT: ₹15.39 lakh
Is this special edition worth it, especially with a reduced price over its vanilla version?

We dropped a hint about an upcoming Kia SUV, which will debut this month. Yes, it's the Kia Syros EV, and we have sighted a fully undisguised model, ahead of an official showcase!
Visually, both ICE and EV versions of the Syros are identical. There only change is the location of the charging flap, which is found on the front fender. In the ICE version, the fuel flap is found on the left rear fender.
In terms of battery sizes, we can expect 42kWh and 51.4kWh units. As the top-spec ICE model goes above ₹20 lakh (on-road), Kia may establish the Syros EV as an efficiency-first vehicle, while the Carens Clavis EV will continue as a people mover.

This technology could come to India!
MG Motor showcased its new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology, semi-solid electrolyte batteries, and enhanced ADAS in the UK. The PHEV powertrain will utilise 1.1-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-hybrid systems, as opposed to the NA-hybrids currently found in the market. The ZS PHEV+ (2027) will be there first to use this tech.
Another notable highlight is the SolidCore battery tech, which makes use of a semi-solid electrolyte instead of liquid material used in current-gen batteries. MG has also stated that this battery is optimised for PHEV applications.
The advanced ADAS tech also gets a system that can handle up to 300 parking scenarios, including unmarked spots. It also has an automated pull-out assistance and reverse path memory up to 100 metres.

The Volkswagen Tayron now has a more accessible variant! Called Tayron Life, it bears a price tag of ₹41.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Unlike the 7-seater R-Line, this one gets 5 seats.
To distinguish itself from the fully loaded R-Line, the Tayron Life gets:
• A revised front bumper and new air curtains
• Changed alloy design and 18-inch tyres (19-inch on the R-Line)
• Larger boot at 885 litres, thanks to the absence of a third row
• 8-speaker audio system (11 in the R-Line)
• Smaller 12.9-inch infotainment with wireless connectivity
Other than these differentiators, features like a twin wireless charger, connected front and rear LED lights, and a powered front row are carried over.
The engine is the same 2.0-litre TSI paired with a 7-speed DSG and AWD, churning out 201bhp/320Nm.
At this price point, is the Tayron Life a compelling buy?
