📢 Important Information for Students & Parents Planning to Study MBBS in Uzbekistan
The Embassy of India, Tashkent has issued an updated advisory and information guide for Indian students seeking admission to medical universities in Uzbekistan.
According to the Embassy, Indian students are mostly enrolled in the following medical institutions:
✅ Andijan State Medical Institute
✅ Bukhara State Medical Institute
✅ Samarkand State Medical University
✅ Tashkent State Medical University (including Termez branches)
✅ Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute
✅ Urgench State Medical Institute
✅ Ferghana Medical Institute of Public Health
✅ Karakalpak Medical Institute
The Embassy has also advised students and parents to:
✔️ Verify the credentials and recognition of the university before taking admission.
✔️ Ensure compliance with the National Medical Commission (NMC) FMGL Regulations, 2021.
✔️ Avoid misleading agents and unauthorized admission channels.
✔️ Confirm that admissions are within the approved intake capacity of the university.
✔️ Make fee payments only through the University's official payment channels.
✔️ Carefully read the admission rules, curriculum, internship requirements, and eligibility criteria before confirming admission.
