How Being Average in School Changed My Life✨

Growing up, like many Indian kids, I was under the impression that good grades are equal to good life as it opens many doors to success. I would rarely skip school, read a book from its index page, sit on the first desk in class, and be the teacher's favourite.

Based on that, I was recommended to get into Science in High School and that's where it all went downhill. I was introduced to concepts I could not understand from textbooks alone which led me to lose my self-confidence.

Having time and energy but no real interest in school, I started exploring hobbies and that's when I decided to start my very first YouTube channel back in 2015. 1 began posting screen recordings, then evolved to real footage of me being on camera (as a 16-year-old), getting better with each video. This opened my eyes to a world beyond school. I would travel places, meet people, and make money all based on content creation.

It helped me with so much personality development and gaining the self-confidence that I was finally good at something even if it was not academics. That's when I had an option to move to Canada. I grabbed it and started documenting my journey as an immigrant who landed as an 18-year-old on a Student Visa.

7 years later, I am a Canadian citizen and works as a REALTOR® helping immigrants like myself buy their first home in Canada🏡🇨🇦

It has been such an unreal journey and I am so grateful for everyone who has supported me. The lessons I have learned are far more valuable than any amount of money I have ever made.

Being Average at School allowed me to explore other areas of interest which later completely changed my life. 😊❤️
