Everyone knows about altitude training. But what about heat training? The benefits of this method of training, known as "heat adaptation," are well-documented, but discussed a lot less than altitude training.

After getting a stress fracture a few weeks into training, and then training almost exclusively on the bike, I managed a painful 3 hours 05 minutes at Chicago last week. My body is slowly returning to normality.
