Dear Valerie, Thank you for giving in to learning. The journey indeed has not been easy, neither has it been rosey but you stood tall in all and learned the necessary things in the process.

Thanks for loving you, thanks for the many lives God is using you to bless, In all, thanks for being yourself.

I pray for you today, Lines will fall to you in pleasant places, you shall flourish like the tree planted by the rivers of water. Your fruits will spring forth in due season. The face of the lord will continue to shine upon you. Love and light will never elude you. Today, and always you will walk/work in the path the lord leads you.

You are indeed an epitome of beauty, embodiment of Gods grace and mercy.

One of the many purposes of marriage is companionship.

Companionship: “Then the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him” (Genesis 2:18). “Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?” (Amos 3:3).

I understand that there was a way marriage was initially which was - Marry to love but as time progresses, we moved to Love to marriage. Which is also okay

One thing that is not okay is, trying so hard to look for that perfect one to love before marriage and end up just living together as roommates or flatmates.

What went wrong?

Many people nowadays especially ladies marry for the wrong reasons and until you realize that marriage is a life time commitment, you'll be sure to marry for all the right reasons especially the reason of making your marriage one that glorifies God.

Don't live with the popular word of "It's better to cry in a Royce roll then laugh in a tricycle". If you want to laugh at all, do that where there is peace and with someone that understands the assignment.

Enjoying each other's company was the first reason for marriage. Gen 2:18.

Don't change the password - Companionship is still very much important. Settle with someone that has a full understanding of this. An helper fit for one another

Matthew 19:26 NIV
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Jesus’ statement in Matthew 19:26 is often taken out of context. Many people have taken this verse to mean that they can do anything they want in life because God can do the impossible. Often this can lead to us asking God to do something selfish.

In order to understand what Jesus is saying, we should read the preceding verses. In Matthew 19:16-22, a young man comes to Jesus asking for eternal life. Jesus tells him that he must give up all of his earthly possessions–something the young man is not willing to do. Because he failed the test, the young man failed to inherit eternal life.

Jesus says in Matthew 19:23 that it is very difficult for a rich man to enter heaven. The point is that loving Jesus requires everything we are. Our ultimate love cannot be split between Jesus and something else.

The disciples then ask, “Who can be saved?” Jesus responds in Matthew 19:26 that it is impossible for man to save himself—but it is possible with God. God can do the very thing that man cannot.

Whatever it might be—God has the power to remove these things from your heart so that you can have faith in Jesus. 

So spend some time with God today, and ask Him to search your heart. Ask Him to reveal anything that is keeping you from loving Jesus better.

After he must have shown you, my darling, surrender all of it that the feet of Jesus.

Frustration has a way of making you loose things that are valuable to you. It allows you make decision based on emotions that lives you with regret/pain.

Esau made that mistake due to hunger.

As a worrier, frustration was never too far, I get frustrated about a lot of things easily and it mostly make me loose my Joy.

Chai, thank God for his Love.

The moment I came to understand Psalm 55:22 better, the rest became history 🔥

You know how you know a particular scripture, you say it always but it never really did sink in. That's what happened at the time.

The moment I came to a better understanding of that particular scripture. I understood better why a lot of people lose their Joy, their birthright and many valuable things to them.

You'll keep loosing your valuables if you do not put your trust wholly on God.

What's frustrating you?

Ps.55.22 - Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let you fall.
