Influenced by movies like Blade Runner, Ghost In The Shell, Dune, Matrix, Heat, Alien and many more. // Here I am now in 2024, sitting in front of my AKAI and a Mac daring to try something new. For 25 years, during long sleepless nights and in my challenging work as a freelance media designer, I immersed myself in ambient music, cyberpunk and distant soundscapes. Film scores by Vangelis or even Tangerine Dream records deeply influenced me as a child. Now, in times of YouTube, there are some talented artists with dedication to produce great soundscapes. For relaxation, sleep and focus. I hear this kind of music a lot. But i needed a deeper connection. Producing this type of videos is my desire to feel inner creative freedom while creating something without external pressure, deadlines and rules. I'm not a musician and I've never done a project like this. So I'm very curious if this appeals to anyone but me.

Just picked up the Arturia MiniFreak.
Some of you might remember that at the very beginning of this channel I said I do not really follow music theory. That has not changed. I still explore sounds by ear.
After working only with VSTs for a long time, this is a big milestone for me and my first real hardware synth. For the tech geeks here: 6-voice polyphonic hybrid synthesizer that combines two digital sound engines with an analog filter. Whether I can truly do it justice, we will find out.

I wanted to experiment with retro-futuristic textures that support a more classic cyberpunk ambient tone. And a record player has this perfect retro-futuristic vibe. Especially that raw needle-dust scratch cutting through.
So why not combine visuals and sound character? ANALOG ONE layers in new music textures from my perspective, adding depth to my ambient journey. Real footage first, AI visuals later maybe – the classic atmosphere stays through all current and future videos, whether Blade Runner-specific or general cyberpunk themes... and Tangerine Dream.

Today is the day, friends. A new cyberlopod upload is live.
https://youtu.be/qYCgWa5rOHU // This time, I show you the ocean, inspired by the world of the second Blade Runner film. Over the past months, I have seen many cyberpunk ambient uploads that felt generic and impersonal to me. More and more content is created purely with AI, in shorter and shorter intervals. That is not my approach.
Blade Runner 2049 always made me wonder what still exists beneath the surface of such a future world. While Agent K moves through cities and skies, the ocean remains mostly unseen. This video is my personal take on that hidden space. Calm, powerful, altered, but not empty.
The sound follows the constant movement of the sea and is meant as a quiet tribute to the ocean itself, its raw power and the adaptability of the life forms that inhabit it.
This project is completely AI-free. The footage is licensed and edited by hand, with a strong focus on mood and detail.
As always, I am very curious to hear your thoughts. Let me know how this journey feels to you and thank you for being part of this community.

It’s been a long time since my last release in March, and I felt it was time to check in with you.
Over the past months, I was mostly only able to reply to your comments. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and for staying here during this quieter phase.
Beyond this channel, this year has been quite intense. Still, seeing the incredible growth here and receiving thoughtful feedback from all over the world has been truly uplifting. The total watch time across all videos is staggering. If you imagine turning on a radio and letting it play for as long as you’ve been listening here, it would run nonstop for more than 80 years.
I hope you’re having a peaceful holiday season and that you can take some time to rest and close out this year gently, without too much stress.
I’ve taken a full week off to step away from everything and finally sink back into soundscapes again. I’ve started working on a new track. I honestly don’t know yet when the video will be finished and that’s okay. I want to see where it goes, both musically and visually.
