An ambulance was stuck at a red light.
The siren was loud.
Everyone could hear it.
Everyone knew someone inside might need urgent help.
But still… nobody moved.
People waited for the signal to turn green.
And honestly, it felt strange.
Sometimes in life, we become so busy following systems and routines
that we forget the human side of things.
I see this even at workplaces.
Someone needs support.
Someone is struggling.
Someone needs quick action.
But many times, people wait:
“Not my responsibility.”
“Let someone else handle it.”
“Rules are rules.”
Today’s incident reminded me of one simple thing:
Being human is more important than being perfect.
Sometimes, helping immediately matters more than waiting for the right moment.
Because for us it may be just a few seconds.
For someone else, it could mean everything.
