Acharya Prashanta parhi (Prasanta Kumar Parhi)as an Indian classical violinist, music composer, devotional singer, Lyricist and preacher of kirtan.He has written 150numbers of Bhajan which has already published in "Bhajan piush" and "Chatu Trinsha Bhajan Mala" book. Also he is famous kirtan singer

He has directed and sung so many devotional Bhajan albums both in Hindi and odiya language which explains the glory of Lord Sri Jagannath, Srikrishna.Also he has directed and sung so many Mahamantra kirtan Albums basing upon different Raagas of Hindustani music.Mean while he has already started a Raag based Mahamantra Kirtan Tradition in Odisha.He completed Master degree in Hindustani Violin from Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.He also completed Visharad in Hindustani vocal music and Alankar in Hindustani Violin from ABGM, Mumbai.He has played violin in so many music festival and concert in different part of India He is also recognised artist of Akash Vani and Door Darshan.
