The first graduating class of the Duncanville High School Collegiate Academy will soon walk across the stage as part of the Class of 2021. The Collegiate Academy's seniors spent the past four years working toward earning both a high school diploma and an associate degree. To mark the special occasion, we are giving you an inside look at what the Collegiate Academy has to offer in our video series, 'This is My Story.' You'll meet four seniors who are completing their journey with the Duncanville High School Collegiate Academy. Today we introduce you to Lesleigh Taylor who had to start a new life in Texas after Hurricane Katrina forced her and her family out of their home in Louisiana. Lesleigh has come a long way since then and she shares how the Collegiate Academy opened doors she never thought were possible.
