HONOR says its upcoming Robot Phone will officially launch in Q3 2026, after being teased earlier as a phone with a moving, gimbal-like camera system.

The idea is pretty wild: a phone camera that can move, track subjects and help capture more cinematic shots without needing a separate gimbal.

It still sounds like a concept from the future — but if it works well, smartphone cameras could become much more “active” than they are today.
