Founded on August 2002, the International Table Soccer Federation (known as ITSF) is responsible for the organisation of Table Soccer and its championships at
global and continental levels. Prior to the founding of ITSF, Table Soccer had existed as a sport played at competitive level since the 19th century. Today, ITSF, with a membership of 66 countries, is a very dynamic International Federation. It brings together men, women, juniors, seniors and disabled people of different races, creeds and political persuasion as it carries out its main task of developing the activities of millions of Table Soccer players around the world.The purpose and aim of ITSF are the diffusion and the development of Table Soccer among all nations of the world, as well as the raising of the level of Table Soccer culture and knowledge on a sporting, scientific, creative and cultural basis.
