Hey there, listeners! How’s it going? It’s Mike.
Sorry it’s been a while since I posted something new.

The world’s moving fast, but time’s been flowing slowly over here. Not much has changed lately.
Back in the day, I barely slept—I was on fire, jumping into everything at full speed.
But time is the one thing we all get the same amount of.
So maybe... I’ve just reached this slower chapter a little earlier than most. That’s how it feels right now.
やあ、リスナーのみんな、元気？マイクです。
なかなか新しい投稿できなくて、ごめんなさい。

世の中はいろいろ動いてるけど、こっちは時間がゆっくり流れてて、特に大きな変化もない感じ。
若い頃、あんまり寝ないで、ハイになってあれこれやってた。
でも結局、人間に与えられた“時間”ってみんな同じなんだろうね。
だから今、わたしにちょっと早く、こういう“静かな時間”が巡ってきたのかもしれない。

..Well, that’s what my wife says.
To be honest, ever since the stroke messed with my brain, I kind of drift through things.
I don’t always know what I’m thinking anymore—everything feels foggy.
But if my wife says something, she’s probably right.
She’s been by my side for so long, doing all the things I can’t do.
So maybe the old me—the real me—would’ve said the same thing.

Right now, my wife Yuka is the one continuing The Mike Rogers Show, carrying on my vision.
Even when we weren’t on-air together, she and I spent our long radio lives creating shows side by side—planning, picking music, coming up with ideas.
That’s why she knows exactly what kind of show I would’ve wanted to make, and what I would’ve said.

Maybe someday I’ll be back on the show.
Maybe I won’t.
I really don’t know what’s ahead...

……っていうのは、奥さんの考え。
正直なところ、脳梗塞で脳みそやられちゃってからは、自分でも何を考えてるのかよくわからなくなって、ぼーっとしてることが多い。
でもまあ、長いこと俺のそばにいて、俺の代わりにいろんなことをやってくれてる奥さんが言うんだから、昔の俺なら、きっとそういうことを考えてたのかもしれないなって思う。

「マイクロジャースショー」は、今、奥さんの裕佳が俺の意思を引き継いで続けてくれてる。
裕佳とは、長いラジオDJ人生の中で、一緒に番組に出ていない時も、企画や選曲、アイデアの面でずっと一緒に番組を作ってきた。
だから、俺が何を考えてるか、どんな番組をやりたいか、裕佳ならよくわかってくれてる。

いつかまた、俺が番組に戻れるかもしれないし、もう戻れないかもしれない。
先のことはわからないけど……もしよかったら、これからも「マイクロジャースショー」を応援してもらえたら嬉しいです。
